What everyday hassle do you wish someone would invent a solution for?

Leaving partners and children themselves out of it 😄 — what’s one thing that repeatedly wastes your time, costs you money or drives you mad?

Something you dealt with this week would be ideal. What would you want a product, app or device to actually do for you?

Have you bought anything to solve it already? What was still missing?

I’m exploring potential product ideas, so this is market research. There’s nothing being sold here.

Something that fully automates laundry.

My smart fridge kind of does this (i can scan stuff in on an app as I put it in) and chat gpt definitely would be able to. I bet i could take a picture of my pantry cupboard items and the inside of my fridge and it would come up with a meal plan of I wanted it to

A solution to getting the tissues out of the box, when it's about half empty, and the folding "mechanism" to get them out fails.

First world problem, for sure, but drives me potty.

Drying after a shower.

Where we go on holiday they have a big dryer you can stand in and you get dry and in a few minutes. I’ve said for the last few years if we won the euromillions I was having one at home.

Appliances that instead of giving you a code for whatever is wrong automatically call out the engineer to come and fix the problem (without it being cheaper to replace it too).

Something to stop the neighbours and their kids from shouting and screaming, way beyond what is 'normal'.

A duvet that adjusts to my temperature throughout the night and keeps me warm when I'm chilly and cool when I'm hotter. Something better than my wool duvet.

Self adjusting tyres that give more traction in the snow.

Something that cleans my hair without the faff of washing it - but which isn't dry shampoo.

Stick on reusable heat patches for my various aching joints

I would like a robot that makes and brings me a cup of tea in bed every morning.

A teasmade? Not sure if they still make them?

Something that would take my shopping from the cartoon and then put it all away in the kitchen in date order. I don't like the idea of a robot though.

Something that instantly gets rid of cat hairs on clothes. And then repels them so they won't come back.

A law that made all sell by dates appear on the same place on every bottle/package and be clearly visible.

A self-cleaning bath and shower. I don't even mind doing the toilet, but the effing bath... 😖

I would pay $100 for a gadget that peels and crushes garlic perfectly each time, quickly and cleanly and that isn’t a faff to clean and doesn’t leave bits of garlic paper everywhere. Around $80 for the same for ginger.
