This is the police escort for the latest small boat arrivals at Gosport tonight.

What on earth is going on with this country?

There was one demonstration of men balaclavas.

The demonstrations at Dover a few weeks ago and that at Gosport tonight are mixed and most people do not have their faces covered.

But that’s not going to stop people continuing to post about men in balaclavas.

Well, it’s UK security officials who said it! They said Iran was using it as a route for bringing in IRGC affiliated people.

I don’t know if they said anything about other countries being linked.

Leaving the human rights convention would make it easier to deport such people if you found them.

Not sure how the UK is going to be able to sustain the migrant policy:

I had experience of working in a health care organisation some years back processing 'unaccompanied minors' who arrived in small boats.

All purported to be under 18.

All with Jan 1st birthdays with year corresponding to them being 16 or 17.

Many alleging sexuality as reason for persecution but later that changed to transgender persecution. It started as a trickle then exploded because word must have got round..

All had Paediatric assessments (with interpreters) in which whole blocks of the diary were reserved for them when there was already a massive waiting list of local children to be seen. Paediatrician not allowed to query age

All housed in group foster homes which seemed to be constantly set up for this purpose with social workers assigned, taxis to get them to college.

I dread to think how much this all cost not only financially but also in reducing manpower in local services for local children.

In my small area we'd have 10 -15 a week, in the other areas we worked across probably 75-100 depending on time of year.. This was because Kent was always at capacity and we were quite a distance away.

I have to admit I quit because it was just a joke and depressing tbh.

I think shes also slightly missed the point that it's us thats the ECHR member. So we are the ones bound by it's rules.

They are not though. If you watch the videos you’ll see plenty of women and people with no balaclava/mask.

Migrants in small boats should not be attacked, and if there was an actual risk, some police protection seems reasonable. Yes, some may be dangerous but nobody should be attacked in the street.

A motorcade, though? Very odd thing to do when there's already so much frustration with the police.

I would have thought it was pretty obvious what I mean. The RNLI are doing more harm by helping in bringing in boat loads undocumented young men from cultures with very different values and attitudes to women than our own than the good they do by rescuing legitimate seafarers, swimmers etc.

It's perfectly obvious, Princess. There will be no room for "us" once we're "overrun" by "Somalians" and "boat people" and "Afghans" so off to Ukraine we go.

I have zero interest in what colour people are. I would feel exactly the same about illegal immigrants if they were white, green, purple or blue.

The dates of birth were so blatant and name changes from when they gave names when they were picked up, changed them at the temp accommodation they were initially taken to, and changed them again when processed in our area so we'd have to link multiple records to the same person which was difficult with the DOBs all being the same!

Quite often they wouldn't turn up to medical assessments but interpreter still had to be paid and they'd have to be rebooked with Paeds time wasted. They could have 3 missed appointments before being taken off the booking list.

I actually had a DS on the waiting list at the clinic we used and it did piss me right off. Couldn't carry on with it in the end.

The BBC reported on this happening. A woman was coaching these illegals to claim they were transgender. She was subsequently arrested.
