A chat thread for those who don't like this Labour government. 🥀

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

Yep. We're on a short break in Yorkshire, currently staying in a lovely dog-friendly pub near Helmsley; the number of dogs in the bar last night almost equalled the number of customers. Our very friendly GSD has had a ball.

Beautiful weather too if like here, enjoy.

Why is Labour constantly trying to antagonise hard working tax paying British citizens - the very people who pay their wages and keep this country going? They hate us. Yet they fall over themselves trying to appease those of a certain demographic. They're actively destroying British culture and laughing in the faces at those who are opposed to it. They've evil, twisted parasites.

Thats a gorgeous area. We've had quite a few holidays up there with our far-right dogs. Enjoy 😁

My far right dogs are knackered. We've just taken mine and my partner's jack Russell up to the river. Love taking my bloke's dog to our local country pubs. Nestled nicely under the table. It's so peaceful sitting admiring the English landscape. Nice and bright here. 🌞

Now he's started on the triple lock, he'd better be ready for what's coming..

Is it only canines which can be ‘far right’?

Miaow!

A far right pussy cat. If I had a third dog, I'd probs name her Kemi. Love that name.

Pensioners on the bread line about to have their pension slashed? - far right.

Love the name too.

Far right dogs. Brilliant. How do people still support Labour?

I don’t get why people want their rhetoric. It’s bizarre. They see a Labour MP go on about ale, pubs and far right dogs and they think yep.

Perhaps they imagine it’s representative of Farage’s world.

Such is their obsession with him.

SapphireCasino · 29/09/2026 13:23

Hopefully, they’ll start a trend with far right cats

I met a fabulous cat this morning, pretty little grey tabby with white paws. Very chatty. Essex is definitely considered far right so it’s a good bet that this cat is too.

I don’t even want to know what a progressive countryside looks like. Didn’t they have some kind of idea of countryside areas needing to sell more junk food? As part of their “ the countryside is racist” crap?

Theblueyonder · 29/09/2026 13:44

Ah yes, Countryfile…

justasking111 · 29/09/2026 13:47

Our local DH frequents most days for a coffee there's doggy treats on the bar. The Labrador trots up puts her front legs on the bar and gazes at the staff with her big brown eyes 👀 until they produce a little box of treats. As you can imagine this pub is always busy with dog walkers. Great marketing initiative.

RoseInAPot · 29/09/2026 13:51

I was very tempted to call our two rescue dogs Maya and Kemi but we live in a very LibDem/pally flag waving/twaw town.

I do wear my AHF hoodie and get a few sneaky nods and smiles along with a lot of dirty looks. Must get a 'Be More Kemi' one 😎

I hope, and increasingly believe, that cutting the triple lock may prove to be Burnham’s Waterloo.

Arguably, the timing could not be better - if this inflationary backdrop persists, pensioners are going to be positively ‘frothing’ come the next GE.

Baffling isn't it.
I've also been pondering why MN isn't full of positive threads about the government? This site was totally behind Labour pre 2024. They were going to be so wonderful. We've had a Labour govt for two years now, where are all the threads boasting about what Labour are doing? Their supporters are still on here, yet they only ever talk about Reform.
We're on day three of their conference, where are all the threads and positivity? Crickets.

There’s still a few batting away, but yes it’s mostly Reform / Farage etc
