Would take any initial explanation of how they died with a pinch of salt

Heard too many cases that have been found killed after being accused of being witches or to silence after serial assaults

What the French officials and certain people in the UK have done to facilitate this appalling situation is criminal. One day I hope their will be a proper investigation and criminal charges made against these people that have allowed migrant women/children and UK women/children to be put in such danger. It is all a gross violation of human rights and safe guarding on so many levels.

I don't trust them at all. Another poster alerted me to this story earlier by saying that there had been 3 deaths. I could have bet my house that they'd be women and/or children before I read the details.

There is another rumour knocking around that they were there stealing diesel.
I mean, I've never spent an evening nicking diesel, but if I did, I wouldn't choose the perimeter of a US base on high alert as the best place to do it! 😬

Yes, it doesn't say released without charge does it. Just bailed. All very weird.

So somebody who wouldn't disclose his mobile pin number gets held on bail. Suspicious activity of 5 men near an airbase get released on bail.

It is sounding more and more like the 5 men were on their DofE expedition and just got a bit lost.

It is really disturbing but what I find more disturbing is the excuses I have heard other women make for these happenings. For example in certain circles they say that the women are to blame for getting on the boats with a group of men!

Not to blame obviously, but if the come from countries where there is segregation why do it unless they are forced to -which is what I am assuming is happening.
So why aren’t our leftie women concerned about that???

Agree. I find the excuses for the whole issue disturbing, especially coming from women. I've just read one on another thread.

These men must be laughing their arses off when they see women outside their hotel shouting "Refugees Welcome". They wouldn't piss on them if they were on fire.

Yes. It may be true as they’ve been let out on bail which surely they wouldn’t have been if they were planning an attack on the air base. Though who knows nowadays.

Or it could have been a dummy run. There's quite a bit of incongruent jubilation at the moment. The left believing the right have made racist assumptions. Nothing new there then.

So true on 'incongruent jubilation' LHF. The news that the perps were British nationals (whatever that means these days) seemed to trigger it.

Around our way it's heating oil that they nick. A full tank at this time of year is an easy 2k. Red diesel is risky the tests are too good.

Oh as soon as that news broke, I bet they were quick at the racing traps to say told you so. We aren't any further forward as the suspects have been released on strict bail conditions. So no bombs found but links to terrorism haven't categorically been discounted.

Are there not places closer to London to steal diesel from?
Is this going to be yet another bit of weirdness that gets memory-holed?
