Which discontinued supermarket foods do you still miss the most?

Tesco used to do an extra strong garlic bread. The big big Tesco near me no longer sells it. I really miss it. When I eat garlic bead I want it so strong I lose my sight for 10 minutes. I want to be vampire proof for life.I want my sweat so garlicy it melts man-made fibres. That bread used to get me halfway there.

And Waitrose used to sell Spanish (Galician) tinned mussels which were well wicked too.

What do you miss?

I cannot find Waitrose fresh, spicy pesto in any of their branches ATM. Hoping it's not discontinued but it's not looking good!

Birds hot chocolate pudding crunch, oh how I loved it and was gutted when it was discontinued, it was such an easy quick pudding to make in the Winter, add hot water to the chocolate powder then add the crunchy crumble! Lush! Ok not healthy but even so I still miss it

Omg yes those crisps were amazing!!!!

Uncle Ben's teriyaki sauce in a jar - fry steak strips, onions and peppers and add sauce and noodles - amazing. Discontinued.
M&S chocolate pudding in a four pack like yoghurt, heavy sauce like thick cream, not a mousse - amazing. Discontinued.

Iceland sell frozen cauliflower cheese for a similar price
The M&S one is delicious if your budget allows

Asda used to do a custard cream spread and a bourbon cream spread. Its was lime chocolate spread. Absolutely glorious. The custard cream was so good.

Frozen chocolate individual pots with blobs of cream on they were called ' Lovely' . They were amazing . I always ate them partly defrosted

In the late 90s, Tesco did an "Irish Wheaten loaf" in their bakery section. Really small but so, so crusty and wonderful with just butter or olive oil.

I still search for it!

Noodle Doodles

I emailed Heinz once about their clearly incorrect decision to discontinue them. Weirdly, they never bothered to reply…

M&S also did a "Cupid" chocolate bar for Valentines one year. White chocolate with a milk chocolate praline centre. Really big and chunky.

Don't judge me but Tesco also used to do a frozen omelette. Absolute lifesaver when doing low carb but trying to get out the house quickly. Microwave in 3 mins from frozen.

Tins of Chesswood creamed mushrooms. They were lovely heated on top of toast, or used to make quick vol-au-vents.
Also, frozen triangular Birds Eye Cheesies. You cooked them in the oven, and were a mixture of cheese and mashed potato in breadcrumbs. They were delish, much nicer than any croquettes that you can buy nowadays.
Both of these date back to the 1980s.

I confess that I don’t have time to read the whole thread so someone might have already mentioned these!

Marks & Spencer French Fancies. Only 6 in the box, much much nicer than Mr Kipling, utterly gorgeous. Now it’s clear that Mr K make them and they are rubbish!! Very sad!
