No I most definitely don’t mean that. They were responsible, whether over the aged of majority - or not, for their actions.
But there is a path that leads there, that was my point. Too many are following a similar path.

We are. We can't go far as the dog doesn't travel well, poor sod! But it's nice enough round here. We're off to Gisburn Forest a bit later for his afternoon stroll. 😁

The problem with Booths is I don't go often enough, so I need to treat myself while I'm there. Then, bingo, you're £100 down and only 2 carrier bags to show for it! 😫🤣

DH got these firefighters today...amusing for the 90's music reference.

I think 2-3 of them were in Ireland. Their funerals were ostentatious.

I think the driver had priors for attacking the police.
I honestly don't know what the answer is with communities like that - there's a poverty of ambition, and a scorn of education, whereas pride is taken in criminal behaviour or terrorising people. I don't see how funding in the area even begins to tackle that.

And I'm not even sure I agree with the premise in the first place, they're still people with agency, and living in the UK they do have access to education.

Reform got 14.3% of the vote in the last GE, and 5 seats. I'm really not sure they have enough appeal in enough constituencies to actually do well. I keep saying that their appeal is wide but shallow, and I stand by that. They have pockets of support, but it simply isn't enough to have overall success by winning many seats.

Its impossible to call rn, who knows what will happen at the next GE. They are still topping the polls which counts for something, despite all the negative press recently.

I know you all laugh at me when I say this, but I think the tories are under priced.

I’m expecting not just a Burnham bounce in the polls but a Burnham blast-off after seeing him playing up for the camera by picking out a Smiths song on a guitar in Ukraine. It was so statesmanlike and dignified that nobody will think he’s a gimmicky twat now.

Reform need to be getting 40%+ in the polls to win a GE, I think. That extra 8% can't swing it based on the last result, I don't think.
