Big storm system last night which looked like it was heading our way passed a few miles to the east - it's almost as if they are avoiding us

We had a few spits of rain and that was it yesterday.

I went down the beach to meet some friends for lunch - it’s bloody windy here today!

I’ll pay some beach tax.

We had very heavy rain yesterday afternoon and again overnight (DD1 couldn’t sleep), but very little today. There was supposed to be more today. Then more heavy rain is forecast for tomorrow.

So overall we’re not doing too badly!

I got a drenching in the city centre yesterday afternoon as I expected! 🤣

No I didn’t, I wore a light raincoat, which wasn’t properly waterproof. So yes I did get a bit wet! Not to worry, with it being warm I didn’t really mind.

A fair bit of rain here, but also warm and humid. We need a good thunderstorm.
