Lots of love and a little cry for Dolly here too. Amazing woman who brought me much joy. Remember singing along to Islands in the stream as a duet with DH when decorating our first flat. I had to be Kenny because DH could get nearer to Dolly's notes than me. Happy days. Thank you Dolly.

Couldn’t agree more Evenstar the likes of Musk/Bezos etc do nothing apart from hoard more riches never appears to be an iota of selflessness unlike Dolly who really did try to make a difference.

Just jumping on to say so sorry about Dolly. I only know a few of the famous songs but do know about the literacy work.

I do go on some of the immigration threads and you re right about how it descends so quickly. Thank you for those that put the other side.

I used to post more on the benefit threads (frequent name changes) with literal facts and figures of what people are living on. but who wants facts when they get in the way of a good rant? I feel I should venture back when the tropes of Universal Credit claimants living in the lap of luxury.

At Calais ferry port returning from Paris choir tour. Really successful and good fun. Sad news about Dolly - she showed that it was possible to was en a fortunes and still remain a decent human being who didn’t hoard the wealth.
