I noticed the BBC changed its headline on the people who drowned so it focused on their names , ages and family relationship rather than leading with their ethnicity. I have no idea why they chose to do that .

Anyway, we can leave all the nasties to a day of RF frothing, hopefully.

They've really ramped up lately. I think its a sign that anti immigration rhetoric is slipping in the mainstream as the PM is giving us something else to talk about on the regular, and growing more popular as a result.
The aim of the hard core was to keep pushing the envelope so mainstream attitudes moved further and further right.
Burnham has put a bit of a spoke in the wheel and they're panicking that racism is no longer trending enough.

Well no as he wants all disabled people living that way.

Well, that's weird. I'm fairly sure that a lot of the population - even if they don't feel sympathetic towards homeless people - don't want to have to see rough sleepers in our town centres.
It actually tends to unite people even if they don't come at it from the same angle.

His argument is that it sends a message to migrants that they will get everything for free.

"get everything" implies he's never been in a hostel. That's not how I would describe getting everything.
