As an aside, I am amused that for all the hyperbole, the only really visible manifestation of "AI" has been to allow the proliferation of imagery to help illustrate the words in the text.

Now I am not saying it has a terribly retro 18th century feel to it , because i am not that bright. But I will say that I would be curious what conclusions people who have studied that period have reached about how it effected political discourse.

(I am reminded of every teacher who taught Shakespeare pointing out how he would run two plays together for mixed ability crowds .....)

The only downside is that if everyone is using plug in batteries and plug in panels the savings won't be as much because they will smooth out the differences that led to cheaper times anyway. But it's still a good idea.

There’s a bit of a tone of blame that relations soured under Starmer - but I reckon the way he dealt with Trump was the bit of Starmer’s premiership most people approved. I do not want better relations and I do not want us doing more to help the Us with their mess in the Middle East.

Anything we do should be as part of NATO.

And (bearing in mind I generally prefer evolution to revolution) I would tell the US to get their airbases the fuck out the UK. (If for no other reason than to halve our road deaths). No ifs, no buts, no maybes. That's what you get for shitting on the families of soldiers who died at the request of the US.
