I'm not feeling great. In pain and have a hangover type headache for the first time in ages. Feeling quite overwhelmed about the week ahead. MEcfs is just bloody impossible isn't it ?

Morning all, cuppas all round and sending good luck to Mrs Pidge and happy birthday to Obsidian 🤣

I've been awake since 3.... got a text at 6.30 to say my delivery was an hour away so taxi over to new flat, where the Argos van blocked the road but thankfully it was early enough to be quiet. So I have a bed but need to wait for help to build it. And expecting the mattress around midday. Attempting to build some smaller storage units this morning, interspersed with naps.

You're doing incredibly well @martha79 . It's such hard work moving.

I don't want to live here all my life but I can't imagine trying to move either!

It's quite cool this morning. The plan today is to do some chores and gently start packing. I must nail down arrangements for Obsidian's birthday too 😆

I hope this heatwave will go away quickly. I’m absolutely sick of this now. I was watching YouTube yesterday and one of the people I subscribe to, she lives in Svalbard and when she made the video, it was 12c and raining and I thought that was just bliss right now. Blanket weather and she got the log burner going too

It's been lovely for a change but so difficult when you need eg a hot water bottle!

Feels cooler here but still forecast 25, my DD said yesterday we’ve all changed our perception of a hot day this summer!

My new cooling fan has broken already 😕 just out of the window for return by a week via amazon but I’ve emailed the address in the booklet though this happened with a heated airer bought via Amazon once and had no luck contacting company so we will see!

Well done! If you're getting morning deliveries, the school holidays are a good time. We live on a main road and usually have long traffic queues outside at rush hour, so much better this week!

I wonder if anyone has ever calculated how much pollution has been caused by parents being allowed to send their kids to non local schools...I know plenty who have tremendously long journeys to school. A bit late to change the system now, but it causes such stress!

Well the cat's away today! I'm in charge of the dishwasher and I have rearranged it more to my liking. I have pulled out crockery to make room for my favourite teapot, and just made a pile on the side to be dealt with later. This is against some sort of rule but I don't care hahaha.
