What's everyone having for dinner in this heatwave?

If you're experiencing the heatwave like we are in Berkshire, UK- then what have you all got planned for dinner?!

I need some inspiration as currently I have no desire to stand over a hot oven, yet feel like I am slowly marinating myself😂

Quiche and pasta salad

Ice cream.
Waitrose Peach Melba for me, Mackies with M&S version of ‘ice magic’ for DH.
Daughter having cold pizza. Well it will be cold when she eats it.

A massive salad of course! With loads of feta, roasted sweet potato, and baguette.

Cheese and cucumber sandwich 😋

Burgers and corn on the cobs done on the bbq plus potato salad.

The jacket potatoes we didn’t eat last night scooped out then refilled with cheese and sing onion, lemon chicken bits and salad - a cucumber from my dad and watermelon for pudding if anyone is still hungry

McDonald’s! Tomorrow I’m going to cook the Ragu first thing before work so I’m prepared!

I’m making some noodles with lots of coriander, mushrooms in the airfryer and sauteed vegan chicken. Then mixed together.

Fridge is full of quiches, scotch eggs, pork pie, chorizo, cold meats, cheeses, potato salad, coleslaw, beetroot salad, lettuce, watercress, tomatoes, radishes, cucumber, celery, salmon canapés and more.

Everyone helps themselves!

I did a chicken, veg and rice one pot thing on the stove - very easy just chuck everything in affair but even that felt like too much effort to be honest.

Tomorrow is DH’s birthday so a take away, hoping there might be some leftovers for the day after.

Bbq... burgers, marinated pork steaks, chicken and chorizo skewers, rice, salad, potato salad and coleslaw. All from Tesco! Bought bbq stuff at the weekend and having a bbq every day!

Nothing. Ive just been throwing up for a good 5 minutes which always happens when I get very dehydrated. Im so busy at work I forget to drink.

Spanish omelet with charcuterie and asparagus. Then more ice lollies.

Called to the supermarket this evening to do a shop and it was packed (No idea if it was everyone wanting air conditioning or there is something coming up that I know nothing about but was more busy that Christmas eve.) Ended up going home and cleaning out the fridge. Had some leftover olives, a few slices of chorizo, made croutons out of some left over bread, had some pickles, carrot sticks and made a caesar style dressing. Planning a slice of toast with some of the dressing later. It was really nice.

wondering if I can turn the random assortment of green veg and a jar of butter beans into a "green gazpacho" for tomorrow

I’ve just had cold roast chicken (roasted a whole chicken yesterday for lunches etc.) with steamed veg. Was meant to have new potatoes too but couldn’t be bothered

Some Spanish ham straight into my mouth and cold pinot noir.

I did a supermarket shop today so I don’t have to go out in the extreme heat of tomorrow and Thursday

IKEA meatballs and a green salad.
