What's the most attractive thing a man has done unintentionally?

Can be your DH/DP/random man. I'm single, so my instances will be of a random man.

When I was at work recently, a man who works there, who is really chatty with me, asked me how my birthday was and idk why but it was such a turn on. Literally no-one else remembered, and I don't expect them to as I don't make a fuss of it, so the fact he remembered it was just really attractive. The bar is in hell guys, pray for me.

Another time was a few months ago; we had a contractor come in to work to fix the lift. We let on and asked how each other is etc, I mentioned being annoyed as I hadn't been able to take a break yet after 6 hours work, so he said go for your break and if anyone says anything he will sort them out. Already a turn on. I go for my break, come back and he is arguing with my manager that I should have had a break by now because of working so long etc. I think I may keep breaking the lift in hopes that he comes back.

Making this thread as I've been on a lot of threads today that ended up being really negative and want a shred of positivity on my Friday night - so, what is the most unintentionally attractive thing that a man has done that you found attractive?

Yes definitely helping elderly relatives is sexy. I was at the flower show and glanced over to see my DH who had been pushing my 94 year old father in his wheelchair. He was kneeling to listen to my DF naming all of the plants. He has dementia but could remember them all.

The one time a man cleared up cat sick in my house he had every intention of impressing me, and it worked.

The gentleness and competence with which the chairman of a sports club I'm in evicted a giant moth from the room before a meeting a few weeks ago was unintentionally attractive.

Who can resist a fearless moth warrior

In a film an actor looked right into the actresses eyes, so deep that it looked like he was looking right into her very soul. Omg it was so hot and beautiful, as if she was just the only other person in the world. The film was crap but I bought it on dvd just for that scene 🤣

That sounds hella romantic and I need that in my life 😍 spill the film so I can feel vicariously loved

The PE coach guy at my kids primary school who had organised sports day, every time there was a kid that really really struggled, and were clearly coming last, he'd go and finish the race with them. All the mums were literally 😍

I am way beyond a time when I was noticed. A couple of summers ago in the boiling heat I had 4 grandchildren with me 7, 5, 2 and 0. I was frazzled by the heat and frazzled full stop. Going into Sainsbury's and a man sat on the floor with the kindest eyes asked me if I was ok and then said you've got your hands full love.
I know people will say they are just wanting money and speak to everyone, but it was kind words from kind eyes when I was quite low.

Funny, mine occurred in a pool too. When I tried to teach my DS to be confident in the deeper water, and he panicked and clung to me so hard that we both went under and my boob popped out of my swimming costume.

a kind father swam over, prised DS off me and basically rescued me from drowning. He also averted his eyes while i fixed the boob situation. What a champ 🥰

My goodness thats so sexy yet respectful. This should be a scene in a film!

Ha ha, I was only 30 😄 It rained pretty much every day on our honeymoon and we spent a lot of time holed up in pubs doing crosswords. We've been married over 20 years and still do crosswords!

Aww tbf I love a good crossword. Has to be on paper and not on a screen though or its not the same. I hope I find my person to do crosswords with too 🥹

I just had a flash in my mind of when John Leslie rescued Judy Finnegan at the award ceremony in a similar scenario!!

I'd been dating this guy just a few short months, when I got the most horrendous sick bug. He didn't leave my side, kept taking the sick bucket away, cleaning it and coming back.

We've been together 18 years now.

Gah stop it that is so hot. I bet he did it for the reaction the jammy little sod. It worked though 😏

The man who works in the work canteen used to be a chef in a fancy restaurant but gave up due to the shift work. He showed me the photos of the food he made.

Awww that was so sweet to read. There's a lovely chap like this who sits outside my local large supermarket with his dog. Never heard him ask anyone for anything. Sometimes genuinely kind people exist, and its so attractive.

When someone tries to hum a tune to identify it and DH says "like this?" and goes and plays it beautifully on the piano with some improvisational flourishes. He's really not a show off and it's casual and when I said a while ago it was attractive he was so pleased. Oh and if we're at a wedding, or church or singing happy birthday etc he'll harmonize just really joyfully and effortlessly.

elQuintoConyo · 05/06/2026 21:50

Yes I married him! But this was before we dated - by about a week after Tartufoville 🤣

I don’t know if this is still the case, but 25 years ago if you were driving through London every time you stopped at lights you’d be accosted by people (normally women) trying to sell you rather tired looking bunches of roses.

We never bought any. Then one day, in torrential rain, my then fiancé came home clutching several bunches - petals falling off. He’d felt so sorry for the poor women selling them that he just kept buying a bunch at every traffic light.
