What's the most attractive thing a man has done unintentionally?

Can be your DH/DP/random man. I'm single, so my instances will be of a random man.

When I was at work recently, a man who works there, who is really chatty with me, asked me how my birthday was and idk why but it was such a turn on. Literally no-one else remembered, and I don't expect them to as I don't make a fuss of it, so the fact he remembered it was just really attractive. The bar is in hell guys, pray for me.

Another time was a few months ago; we had a contractor come in to work to fix the lift. We let on and asked how each other is etc, I mentioned being annoyed as I hadn't been able to take a break yet after 6 hours work, so he said go for your break and if anyone says anything he will sort them out. Already a turn on. I go for my break, come back and he is arguing with my manager that I should have had a break by now because of working so long etc. I think I may keep breaking the lift in hopes that he comes back.

Making this thread as I've been on a lot of threads today that ended up being really negative and want a shred of positivity on my Friday night - so, what is the most unintentionally attractive thing that a man has done that you found attractive?

My DP of 18 months turned to me the other day and said ‘one day I will build you the personalised shoe and coat and sports storage of your dreams’ as I was huffing and puffing about the chaos in the under stairs cupboard.

I could have married him on the spot.

Today I was just coming out of the drive with 3.5yo DD dressed in rainbow wellies, a rainbow hoodie and rainbow sunglasses and my daft yellow lab. A white van drove past and as my road is 20mph I saw him clock us, and smile… I imagine because of the crazy kid and dog combo. Someone who appreciates that kind of thing will instantly be 10x more attractive, and it was a welcome change to the stereotypical white van man. I might track down the reg plate tomorrow…

Ugh If a man ever finds me attractive while I'm out and about with my darling feral children it would be nothing short of a miracle. If I took my insane dog too, it would be statistically impossible. Install a camera so you can track him down tbh. That kind of appreciation does not go unnoticed!

When I first started dating my dh he held my hand as we sat in traffic, he was driving. As the traffic moved her placed my hand on the gear stick and held his hand on top and we drove on. It was pretty hot.

Yearningallovertheplace · 05/06/2026 21:26

A director at work cried in front of the other directors when doing a team building exercise, talking about a traumatic event in his life. Sounds insane to find that attractive, I know.

These threads always very quickly devolve into men cleaning up cat sick and helping elderly relatives on here for some reason.
Or parallel parking/ reversing the car into a tricky spot. Every single time.

Honestly better than someone remembering my birthday I don't even have standards anymore. Just a penis will do.

There is a man who I bump into once or twice a week who has fallen in love with my dog and my dog loves him back. They are so happy every time they see each other and it just makes him attractive to me. If he asked me out I’d definitely go out with him, even if it was just a way for him to get to my dog😂

HidingintheClothesPile · 05/06/2026 21:27

This is gonna sound daft but when my OH drives in to the sort of car park that vends you a ticket at the barrier as you drive in, he takes it and sticks it between his teeth whilst he’s parking. It’s literally the hottest thing I’ve ever seen. Not sorry.

Stopped his car and put on the hazards to usher a hedgehog across the road (quiet road, so didn't cause danger to anyone else)

I love him too! A man tenderly caring for creatures is very hot

The one time a man cleared up cat sick in my house he had every intention of impressing me, and it worked.

The gentleness and competence with which the chairman of a sports club I'm in evicted a giant moth from the room before a meeting a few weeks ago was unintentionally attractive.

I'm not even at fwb stage, I literally need to get out there 😫😫

Me either it's such a sad life 😪 I have a lovely elderly neighbour who is single, he's 91 but I reckon he's still got it in him. Big up David

As someone who was constantly put down in a previous relationship about the shocking amount of clothes I own, this is music to my ears 😍 you should of replied "just a ring will do" hehe

I started to feel like I was reading erotica. That is so hot. I need a man who drives.

I think my favourite thing is when they take off their belt slowly, or walk around with it hanging open in the process of getting dressed. It’s not subtle, but it’s a joy to behold every single time.

I can understand this on a deeper level tbf, it's quite rare you witness men being vulnerable and honest in this regard as there is so much stigma surrounding it for them. Emotional vulnerability is honestly so attractive

In a film an actor looked right into the actresses eyes, so deep that it looked like he was looking right into her very soul. Omg it was so hot and beautiful, as if she was just the only other person in the world. The film was crap but I bought it on dvd just for that scene 🤣

Damn you are lucky. That level of kindness and compassion and selflessness is so damn attractive. Where did you meet? Does he have a single brother who is exactly like him??

Met through a mutual friend. No brother sorry! Maybe just pretend to have broken down in your car and see who turns up haha.

Omg that is so cute!! I only wish I could make this happen. Get the dog to take him a note saying "Be mine?", if he says no, just say it was the dog who wrote the note, not you.

Oof couldn't agree more. I used to like when my ex would be getting dressed and put his bottom half of clothes on first. Topless is just sexy whether they intend for it to be or not

Lmfao I'm trying to picture it and I'm getting the idea of what you mean and I'm feeling it tbf. Im so deprived that I think a man picking his nose would be attractive to me at this point smh

Funny, mine occurred in a pool too. When I tried to teach my DS to be confident in the deeper water, and he panicked and clung to me so hard that we both went under and my boob popped out of my swimming costume.

a kind father swam over, prised DS off me and basically rescued me from drowning. He also averted his eyes while i fixed the boob situation. What a champ 🥰

Ha ha, I was only 30 😄 It rained pretty much every day on our honeymoon and we spent a lot of time holed up in pubs doing crosswords. We've been married over 20 years and still do crosswords!
