What's the most attractive thing a man has done unintentionally?

worldshottestmom · 05/06/2026 20:35

Can be your DH/DP/random man. I'm single, so my instances will be of a random man.

When I was at work recently, a man who works there, who is really chatty with me, asked me how my birthday was and idk why but it was such a turn on. Literally no-one else remembered, and I don't expect them to as I don't make a fuss of it, so the fact he remembered it was just really attractive. The bar is in hell guys, pray for me.

Another time was a few months ago; we had a contractor come in to work to fix the lift. We let on and asked how each other is etc, I mentioned being annoyed as I hadn't been able to take a break yet after 6 hours work, so he said go for your break and if anyone says anything he will sort them out. Already a turn on. I go for my break, come back and he is arguing with my manager that I should have had a break by now because of working so long etc. I think I may keep breaking the lift in hopes that he comes back.

Making this thread as I've been on a lot of threads today that ended up being really negative and want a shred of positivity on my Friday night - so, what is the most unintentionally attractive thing that a man has done that you found attractive?

Hmm

Do you know what, I was with dd swimming and a man was with his ds

He was apologetic as his ds was jumping, but i laughed as my dd loves to jump

Anyway - he stepped into the pool from the side. Like, its a kids pool so maybe a meter deep, but he just casually stepped in it. I have to sit on the side and then slide in for reference

I was like, omg you are so bloody hot 😋

I think he noticed me eyeing him, so I got back to dd and havent seen him since. But i still think of him sometimes. Getting a little tired of single life 😄😄

Omg so glad you commented I love your threads tbh haha you're so fun!

Hot pool dad beats my example hands down 😍 time to take my kids swimming. I need to fish me a man!

Seriously though, you know you're hot when stepping into a kids pool turns heads. Maybe we should get jobs as life guards 🤔

No your second example is definitely hot - men defending women is 👌

Yes 100% hot tall dads at the swimming pool is an untapped market! He was like over 6ft, brown haired and a dad bod, but stocky 😄😄😄 i understand, its time I find myself a man as well, honestly x

VenusClapTrap · 05/06/2026 20:58

Omg stop it that is like my dream man 😍 I cannot believe I have not taken my kids swimming yet. It's about to become our favourite hobby. Omg same, maybe even just a fwb because like, I love having my peace and doing me, but its just getting so boring?? I hope you find your Jason mamoa swim dad soon! I will report back if I find mine 😏 x

I married him.

Stopped his car and put on the hazards to usher a hedgehog across the road (quiet road, so didn't cause danger to anyone else)

That is possibly the sweetest thing I've ever read in my life. Protect this man at all costs

My husband has always been like this but he always goes the extra mile to help people even if he doesn't know them.

He's jump started peoples cars before when they've broken down and even spent an hour with an old lady who was waiting for the breakdown van to arrive. He gives tech support to my mam and grandparents all the time. He even did a 4 hour round trip in the car to make sure my whole family managed to get christmas presents to eachother on time.

BotanyB · 05/06/2026 21:13

My attraction to my now DH took a big leap forward when, on our second date, he was expertly completing a crossword as I arrived.

Conditionerwasher · 05/06/2026 21:14

I have a massive crush (embarrassingly so) on one of the school dads in my sons year after he was lovely to my son. My ds missed a penalty in the school cup match and was so upset with himself lovely school dad came straight over to him and bent down so he was facing him and told my ds how brave he was taking a penalty when no one else wanted to and what a great player and what a good teammate he was to the boys. Giving ds a little hair ruffle cheered him so much.
since then he’s been my main crush lol 😂even if he has no idea he makes my heart flutter every time I see him🙈

About the stepping into the pool

That is a lot of strength and flexibility in the glutes and hip flexors - I can already hear your response to that @mumofoneAloneandwell I presume you have a suitable gif?!

Very attractive, but also I'm very jealous!

FirstTimer888 · 05/06/2026 21:16

Today I was just coming out of the drive with 3.5yo DD dressed in rainbow wellies, a rainbow hoodie and rainbow sunglasses and my daft yellow lab. A white van drove past and as my road is 20mph I saw him clock us, and smile… I imagine because of the crazy kid and dog combo. Someone who appreciates that kind of thing will instantly be 10x more attractive, and it was a welcome change to the stereotypical white van man. I might track down the reg plate tomorrow…

These threads always very quickly devolve into men cleaning up cat sick and helping elderly relatives on here for some reason.
Or parallel parking/ reversing the car into a tricky spot. Every single time.

😂

maybe because women are sick of doing caring duties and it’s nice for a man to step in

Damn you are lucky. That level of kindness and compassion and selflessness is so damn attractive. Where did you meet? Does he have a single brother who is exactly like him??

I get that. But it’s not sexy and no one can convince me otherwise.
One time someone answered “made me a cup of tea without me asking”.

Oh my gosh stop it right now that is so attractive!! There is literally nothing more attractive than men being fatherly to kids. This comment wins. Is he single? You need to make some moves!
