What's the most attractive thing a man has done unintentionally?

Can be your DH/DP/random man. I'm single, so my instances will be of a random man.

When I was at work recently, a man who works there, who is really chatty with me, asked me how my birthday was and idk why but it was such a turn on. Literally no-one else remembered, and I don't expect them to as I don't make a fuss of it, so the fact he remembered it was just really attractive. The bar is in hell guys, pray for me.

Another time was a few months ago; we had a contractor come in to work to fix the lift. We let on and asked how each other is etc, I mentioned being annoyed as I hadn't been able to take a break yet after 6 hours work, so he said go for your break and if anyone says anything he will sort them out. Already a turn on. I go for my break, come back and he is arguing with my manager that I should have had a break by now because of working so long etc. I think I may keep breaking the lift in hopes that he comes back.

Making this thread as I've been on a lot of threads today that ended up being really negative and want a shred of positivity on my Friday night - so, what is the most unintentionally attractive thing that a man has done that you found attractive?

I find it very sexy when DH does manual labour. He recently did some work on a TV show (not his normal job just helping a friend) and when I went to meet him he was wearing utility type trousers and a tool belt, I was very flustered😛

Men wearing uniform is probably the hottest thing ever. If I'm ever elected as priminister, I will have a work mandate that all men must wear some sort of uniform. Doesn't matter the line of work, uniform required. Preferably a suit or some sort of utility garment.

Lol, most of these are ordinary things, probably just done by cute men- isn't that right OP?😀

Yes it only counts if they're attractive tbf (for me), or with the charisma of a God if they arent all that looks wise. A fat bald moody man with zero charisma or charm doing any of these things just doesn't hit the same, you know?

Yes, a man in uniform is particularly handsome.

I remember when my ex-boyfriend (who was tinkering with his bike), told me that he knows how to hot wire a car.
I found that unfeasibly attractive.
He also has a patent. I think that’s pretty sexy too.
I honestly can’t explain why.

All true. He dropped a few more casual heartstoppers over the time we were together, but the book one was the bar that I measured against for ages!

It didn't work out for us in the end - bad timing and a few curve balls - but we are still vaguely in touch, and I occasionally recall the 18 months we were together, with a quiet smile.

That is so beautiful honestly. A time in your life to look back on fondly and cherish. So sweet, and sexy lol

Having the skillset to hot wire a car is so damn hot. And idk why but i also find having a patent sexy hahaha maybe the exclusivity of it?? I like motorbikes tbh. Some guy on a motorbike was revving his engine to me about 2 weeks ago when I was stood with my kids waiting to cross the road. I hate it when men approach me when im with my kids as I just get instinctively very defensive, so I didnt even look at him beyond a glance, to see him staring at me while doing it lol. It was quite hot though and should my kids not have been there i would have relished in it hahaha

Showing that he was vulnerable. His young cat got run over and he had to have it put down. This totally floored him. Obviously, this was not good but he was able to let me know how he was feeling. Much hotter than being macho and bottling it up.

This comment is so chaotic I love it hahahahaha

So, so far my ideal man needs to:

Look hot in a swimming pool
Drive
Clean up cat sick
Help old ladies in any way possible
Fight off monkeys
Stop to say hi to cats
Help hedgehogs cross roads (and geese)
Sing / be musical
Do DIY
be able to fix any fault on cars
chop onions like a masterchef contestant
And of course remember my birthday

Im heading to tinder wish me luck

😂😂😂😂

I was a landlady when we met, he walked in in full leathers took his helmet off and asked for a pint. It was the shy smile that went with the ask from this big biker that did it.

He is 10 years younger than me and I had an 18 year old DS at the time. He always went out of his way to find him in the pub and buy him a pint.

Two years after we married I was diagnoised with Lupus, he always if he could came with me to the appointments ( it had taken 18 months of appointments to come to tge diagnoise it) he sat quietly while the Consultant explained what Lupus was. DH first words then were ' What can I do to help her'.

25 years on and I am now disabled he takes care of me so much, does all of the housework, cooks from scratch and does all the shopping.

Ive been on WLI and lost a lot of weight, tge meds Im on didnt help with the weight and not moving much didnt help. I was determined that as I lost weight I would try and walk more. DH subscribed to the National Trust so we could go to nice places bought me a beautiful nice lightweight mobility walker (which he opens the boot gets out and just flicks up with a grin) then patiently walks slowly besides me as we wander.

Best bit about him though is how he spends hours with our 9 year old DGD listening to all her made up stories ( she wants to be a author 😁) and she way he walks everywhere holding her hand. We never had children together but his DGD is very much his DGD and god help anyone who said actually she is not really his DGD.

And lastly from both the men in myblife DH and DS, considering there is only 9 years between them. They call each other Dad and son.

My builder, who IS a genuinely nice bloke, built me a lovely pantry, from my hell-hole, under the stairs, grimy, chaotic space off the kitchen. I've never had a bloke who was handy, and he's very OCD about tidy/clean/neat. Just the ability to MAKE something like that himself. The skill of being able to measure and create. AND he's an artist in his spare time. And speaks at great length and very lovingly about his children and wife. SWOON

AND managed to get all the tea stains out of my cups without bleach because he's OCD and I'm a slattern.

I have managed not to get into a sexual obsession/crush because fortunately, I'm post menopause and my libido has plummeted. One thing to be grateful for because 10 years ago I'd have been pools of liquid around him.

tireddownsouth · 07/06/2026 09:19
  1. When he first bought his house and I helped him move in, I fell asleep on the sofa but he’d made a little “nest bed” upstairs amongst all the boxes and ushered me that he couldn’t let me sleep on the sofa. I’d just come out of an abusive relationship and I welled up and told him that was the nicest thing anyone had done for me in a long time

  2. We live together now and the other day I went downstairs and before he’d come to bed he had left out our mugs- mine with my coffee&collagen and his with his tea bag in ready for the water

I really appreciate the small things with him 🥰

Awww he sounds like an absolute dime!! You have really scored a winner there. You just know he will look after in you old age, too, its so reassuring and comforting when they are like this. They just feel like home. Holding out hope I can bag me one like this 🤞

You will-i never thought id meet someone

I dated the tossers, the wankers, the wife beaters and the complete tosspots

I had been single for ages when I downloaded an app (okcupid) and he was the 3rd man I spoke to

He was also the last I spoke to a month in and we swapped numbers

Met outside tesco a week or so later and that was it

(What a story to tell our granddaughter!)

Housework, personal hygiene.

Thatsillymama · 07/06/2026 10:11

One time a man asked me where my dress was from because he thought his wife would really like it and he wanted to buy it for her. I thought it was just so sweet.

vanessashanessa99 · 07/06/2026 10:28

Happened to me this morning! 7am driving home from picking my son up from his friends. Car in front abruptly stopped. Man got out. He then appeared and put his hand up to say sorry. I gave thumbs up to say "it's ok" he came up to show me a tiny kitten inside of his jacket 🥺
He said "it was on the side of the road...what do i do with it?"....anyway. I have said kitten with me and posted on local sites to see if anyone is missing it. Where it was, there were no houses nearby so i don't know where or how it got there.
Taking it to vets later to check it over. Don't even know if they're a boy or a girl but it definitely shouldn't have been out as they're so tiny.

DeftGoldHedgehog · 07/06/2026 10:33

I became more attracted to DH when he found kittens and small children cute and readily admitted it. And more so when he had a bromance with my cat in spite of being "more of a dog person".

TheBewleySisters · 07/06/2026 11:16

He stopped the taxi we were in to run into a convenience store for something and when he came out he casually vaulted over a railing, you know when they put two hands on the top of something and swing their legs over, like Grant Mitchell vaulting over the bar of the Queen Vic. It probably sounds lame but it’s an action I find attractive. Then when I went by ambulance to hospital and had to stay in, he went shopping and bought a PJ set and toiletries for me.

Genuinely picturing a man goose stepping into the pool. Please paint a different image 😂!

😄😄😄

He was just tall and stocky 🤤

Me ex used to vault fences and that was like the one thing I found attractive about him haha so I get that. That is so sweet of him though, he sounds lovely!
