A chat thread for those who don't like this Labour government. 💙

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

Good to see these violent thugs getting their comeuppance.

Good. Also glad to hear that they will serve their full sentence.
Its disgusting that people marched in support of PA when they were proscribed. They were supported by some on MN too.

I think Ed will be in cabinet unfortunately. Probably Rayner too. Sigh.
But we can still celebrate getting rid of Lammy. Hopefully he'll take his stupid jury trials nonsense with him. Would love to see Karl Turner take Lammy's job. <evil laugh>

Zach Polanski has posted about how terrible it is that they were given a punishment.

I once had an utterly filthy dream about AS as Moriarty…..

<blushes at the memory>

Ive met him twice

The first time was like a split second

The second time we had a little hello chat - but honestly, I was awake till about 6 am because I was completely giddy! I remember the taxi driver trying to chat on the way home - this was in the days of nice taxi drivers - and I couldn't focus on what he was saying at all 😂

by the way, how do you people find time to watch cleaning videos? 😂 And you're also listening to politics podcasts... and watching all the things... it feels like you have more hours in the day than I do!

Ed Miliband is beyond parody now... it's scary that this is real. He probably is going to come after our decent hairdryers next.

Parsley4321 · 13/06/2026 07:11

Where did Polanski say that ? Jeez he needs to calm the fuck down he’s going to be out soon please especially after he refused to condemn the other crime issue which right now I can’t remember 🤦‍♀️

This is the perpetrator who hit a woman with a sledge hammer as a weapon?

He is so concerning. I hope he never gets anywhere near power.

It is.

Look at the ratio on the post though...it's not popular!

Yes thats them.
And ZP describes their imprisonment as gut wrenching.

It's the type of comment you'd expect to hear from a sixth form student trying to be edgy and controversial. Not a sodding 43 year old leader of a political party. Grow the fuck up, Dave.

EasternStandard · 13/06/2026 07:53

It concerns me a lot. He can’t see violence against women. It’s invisible if it’s a leftist cause.

NoWordForFluffy · 13/06/2026 07:53

Who are these people who are voting for the Greens? They've come so far from their original aims that I just fail to see their appeal. Those voters are essentially condoning this type of response from Polanski. Bizarre so many are willing to, isn't it?

Parsley4321 · 13/06/2026 08:01

Yes the green creep is unbelievably fast and full of complete lunatics one can only hope the exposure of their madness is illuminating to the electorate

Agreed. I used to like the old Green party, and respected their values. This lot are a totally different animal. All the old Green voters I've ever known have been peace loving, good people, so I don't see how they can get on board with this lot. ZP is dangerous.

Burnham is saying the right things...but he's trying to win an election! I see the gap between him and Kenyon has dropped to 5%. Bit close really!

I'm interested to see what the turnout is.

Yes, will be interesting to watch. It seems hinged on the Restore voters.
I keep going back to Labour's confidence that they had won in G&D, only to come third.

We’ve gone Green here with council elections and the people canvassing seemed pretty nice. They can’t be ok with sledgehammer attacks surely.

I just can’t see how they could defend violence at a woman on the doorstep.

The left’s ability to dismiss violence against women is disturbing generally.

Agree. Its very disturbing, and I don't understand how they get much support. Surely this kind of thing is a red line, even for those who lean left?

Sorry to hear that your patch has gone green.

Starmer must be feeling a lonely bollard.

Team Burnham does not keep count, but estimates are that about 200 (out of 402) Labour MPs have campaigned in this constituency in the past month, before the Makerfield by-election on Thursday.
Many have been several times. One organiser says: “I know MPs who have been there four or five times and are planning to be there a lot in the final week.”

Labour campaigners are told to say on door knocks, “I’m calling on behalf of Andy Burnham” rather than, “I’m calling on behalf of Labour”

SpaceRaccoon · 13/06/2026 08:43

Oh thats excellent. 😂
Spot on JKR.

He's happy with 'the plan' that he hasn't even seen, yet those who have seen it resigned! 🤣🤣
Don't they realise how ridiculous they look when they do this? Crazy.
