Michael Jackson stories

After the new film has come out. Does anyone have any stories of meeting Michael Jackson or hearing about someone you know meeting him?

One year Michael Jackson came to live in Ireland for a time. It was after his trial was over. I think he was in Ireland between 6 months to a year.
I lived in Ireland near to where he stayed for a length of time. He went to our local cinema and the child play area. I know a man that worked with MJ in Ireland. He said that he was very nice and that he was a really, really good father. That was it really.

Anyone have any other stories?

Could you link to the source of these voices?

Yep.

’Michael used to be ours when he was making music in the 70s but as his record sales dropped he seemed to turn his back on the black community’

is the essence of what this man says.

Wow so mature 🤦‍♂️

Oh are we back to this again? It’s a reasonable point to make.

I have noticed that Michael Jackson defenders repeatedly use the same words as he did when he was trying to defend his unacceptable, inappropriate behaviour.

I do not think that it is a coincidence.

In other news ive taken a lookie in the film thread and I can well see the cult mentality

Bloody Nora the flowery language fawning and kissing of the feet

Quite a lot of bad grammar and misspelling also which can be telling if not linked to dyslexia or the like....

Ergo im doing a cyber Jarvis who had the grip of him, and cheerfully mooning🤣

Hotandpointy · 16/06/2026 11:38

Anyone who supports him is very dodgy. I wouldn’t let my DC go to the house of an MJ fan and I don’t think I’m alone in that!

Interesting podcast, here as well

One of the presenters wonders if the reason MJ became so dependent on drugs may have been that as he grew older, his looks faded and he was no longer able to groom children and their families so effectively. And this was his way of coping.

I, personally think that it is likely that MJ was sexually as well as physically abused by his father from a very young age. His father is horrifying and looks like a demon.

That's a little bit of a reach. Could be that being accused of the most disgusting thing imaginable would turn you to drugs etc. You could see that he was completely broken after the trial. He was never the same 😞

WigglywagglyWanda · 16/06/2026 08:06

And his multiple plastic surgeries which he claimed only to help him breathe?

Noted in his autopsy

Look me in the eye and deny it in your fake breathy baby voice in a most insulted manner and you can lie about other things.

Edited

In that case you also think any other black person who had a nose job turned their back on the black community too? Has Bella Hadid (for example) turned her back on the Palestinian community because she had a nose job?

Or maybe he became addicted to the high doses of pain meds that were prescribed to him after half his scalp was burnt off in 1984? That makes more sense.

Speaking of looking like a demon ........

Leaving Neverland: viewers are 'physically sick' by the abuse film

In the two-hour documentary - the second part of which airs tonight - two men, Wade Robson and James Safechuck expose Michael Jackson as a predatory paedophile, recounting abuse in graphic detail.

Straw man argument.

if you actually listen to what black fans of Michael Jackson think about his career from where he started out, you’d realise that the reason they felt he turned his back on them was not based on his multiple rhinoplasties and had more to do with his evolution as an artist from the 70s to where he ended up. As can be seen in the video I posted by ‘Lorenzo Thinks’.

Though many of them find it jarring that he whitened his skin instead of darkening it.

Great observation.

It's interesting though, how after all this research they generally struggle to debate any points and instead stick to the same old tired lines.

Dazzle us with this amazing research you have under your belts then and stop gatekeeping 😂

I don't get this, I'm so high and mighty attitude. I completely understand why people think he's guilty, like I said I did for a long time. I'm also not trying to convince anyone else that he wasn't guilty. And no I wouldn't let my kids sleep in a bed with any man that wasn't their dad. It IS weird.

I was convinced by the evidence that he wasn't guilty, you and most on this thread think he was. That's fine. It doesn't mean me or anyone else is less intelligent than you. I'm also not really a die hard MJ fan, never was. I like his music, liked the film, did some research and now I'm not convinced he did abuse anyone. I might be wrong, I might not. We'll never know.

I think people who think TWAW are bloody ridiculous, but I don't think they're stupid or less intelligent than I am.

Errrr

I never mentioned the black community and have no fish to fry in that regard

My point was when Martin Bashir says how much hes facially changed and asks about what surgeries he had, he looks really cross, shakes his head and says in his fake baby voice

No. Its about growing and maturing and changing. Looking him in the eye with a face like a melted candle

My point was that he is a practiced liar and therefore lies.

Bugger all in my post about race

In the 80s and 90s, he had no problems keeping up with his high energy tours. He did not look like a man addicted to opioids.

I can’t speak for others but the reason I get snarky about this issue is that I think people who are hateful towards CSA victims are despicable and sometimes I find it hard to hide my anger and contempt for pedophile apologists.

He was always very skinny, more so the older he got. Look at how skinny Matthew Perry was at the height of his addiction.

Just yesterday posters were saying I was simple minded and lacked critical thinking skills but keep up with the double standards

Ok fair enough

But there really have been

In the other threads when victims were discussed the answer was dollar emojis and worse.

In relation to child sex abuse it wasn't appropriate.

It was a supporter who initially started this crap on page one saying those who thought he was guilty had a low IQ,

People, including myself were frustrated with you for saying victims wouldn't act like that, because victims can and do act like that, and it's harmful when people say that they wouldn't, but I wasn't referring to you with that comment that you quoted., just people from a previous thread and 2 from here.

Earlier in the thread you also took offence when someone said that MJ supporters are frequently of low intelligence and lack critical thinking skills even though it wasn't a blanket statement.

I said to educate yourself (on how trauma can affect people differently) and you said that people who say to educate yourself normally have rainbow hair and like to tell women they’re bigoted Nazis for not letting men in dresses see them naked.

That's even more offensive 😂😂

TBF that's usually true.

MyTrivia · 16/06/2026 12:50

If you have the common sense to realise that men shouldn’t be allowed in women’s spaces then you should also have the common sense to realise that Michael Jackson was clearly a pedophile.
