After the new film has come out. Does anyone have any stories of meeting Michael Jackson or hearing about someone you know meeting him?

One year Michael Jackson came to live in Ireland for a time. It was after his trial was over. I think he was in Ireland between 6 months to a year.
I lived in Ireland near to where he stayed for a length of time. He went to our local cinema and the child play area. I know a man that worked with MJ in Ireland. He said that he was very nice and that he was a really, really good father. That was it really.

Anyone have any other stories?

He was awful, as well as the obvious he was a huge misogynist also. He blamed Monica Lewinsky for what happened with Bill Clinton, asking how much damage can one woman do to a man, he said many powerful men have been taken down by what a woman has between their legs.

Well the defence tried to claim that the boys just flicked through the porn magazines themselves.

They also put MJs 12 year cousin on the stand too who said he caught Gavin and his brother masturbating to porn on MJs bed and that they told him to do it too.

This cousin said he told MJ that the boys had been watching porn and MJ refused to believe him saying they were cool and wouldn't do that.

Like come on, trying to paint these boys as the little deviants and MJ as the naive innocent angel who would never believe that boys would watch porn that he knew he had on his TV.

When I shared that video of Jackson smirking and laughing in response to the allegations, that was in response to fans talking about Safechuck and Robson smirking and laughing. They're the ones saying it meant they were lying.

I was just showing them that their hero did it too, will it stop them from going on about how smirking and laughing means they're lying, fuck no, they'll just keep parroting it about Safechuck and Robson and ignore the footage of MJ.

One of them (the less explicit one) was apparently sent by a fan called Rhonda.

However it looks like Rhonda was a pseudonym , as it was in quotation marks, and some of the letters were capitalized.

Some think it may have even be sent by one of the people who created the book, a convicted child molester called Ronald.

The other one 'boys will be boys' was the worse one and that one was personally inscribed by Michael Jackson.

Fascinating how the naked boys in the book just so happened to be the exact same age as the boys Jackson liked to have in his bed........

Yes very briefly, I'm not writing a thesis, it was an opening for a discussion, but as I said when statements are rebutted they are met with crickets. Most fans don't even attempt to engage afterwards and just carry on repeating what they originally said.

There's nothing remarkable about not mentioning exactly what he meant, it's clear he's trying to be vague in parts.

This is the thing that's so fucked up about all of this, supporters paint things as remarkable when they're not and make out that people wouldn't behave a certain way even though it's a normal and common way to behave, but then lap up a completely unbelievable story about a grown man who had innocent sleepovers with boys.

Lots of people defend Michael Jackson, as for Jimmy Saville, Rolph Harris , Garry Glitter etc… who defended them in saying they were innocent? I can’t think of any?

It’s clear to me from reading the transcript how obsessed he was with acquiring money, destroying Jackson, his bitterness about his marriage ending and also feeling annoyed Jackson dropped him. I’ll never be able to take a sample, but I think most parents who are furious that their child has been abused would go to the police.

Because to admit the truth negates all the love and adoration that was invested in him and in some ways takes something from you as you loved that person. To admit he abused children is a step too far, but he did.

He was a very talented entertainer, I personally had other musicians I preferred as I found him a bit naff in that era. Didn't like or dislike him.

He was a grown man sleeping in bed with little boys, always having new 'special friends' when the last one got too old, he had naked books of boys who were the same age as the boys he had in bed.

You're making a complete mockery of the term to even try to make out it's the guilty side who are using a low level of it.

To believe he's innocent and that things like Evan Chandlers words proved that he was just out for money...well you have to ignore common sense, you have to ignore everything you know about patterns and human behaviour etc which is a hard thing to do when our brains are designed that way for convenience so we're not confused 24/7, they literally ignore basic thinking and don't go anywhere near 'critical thinking'.

I can see however see that a supporter might read the allegations and then engage critical thinking and look to see if there is another side etc, that's fair enough but people lose all credibility whatsoever when they try to make out that those who think he's guilty just have a low IQ or have a lack of critical thinking skills.

Anyone who just has a belief that he is innocent but who actually does have good critical thinking skills would acknowledge why many people believe he is guilty as sin, because they would be well aware of how damning MJs behaviour was, and how normal the victims behaviour is.
