Michael Jackson stories

After the new film has come out. Does anyone have any stories of meeting Michael Jackson or hearing about someone you know meeting him?

One year Michael Jackson came to live in Ireland for a time. It was after his trial was over. I think he was in Ireland between 6 months to a year.
I lived in Ireland near to where he stayed for a length of time. He went to our local cinema and the child play area. I know a man that worked with MJ in Ireland. He said that he was very nice and that he was a really, really good father. That was it really.

Anyone have any other stories?

I find the people who think Michael Jackson is guilty very odd and they clearly have a low IQ, do your research! These accusers wanted money!

What a ridiculous thing to say.

This man slept in bed with little boys, had new 'special friends' as soon as the last one got too old, they found books full of nude photos of boys, the same age as the boys he had sleepovers with (books made by pedophiles by the way), he's been accused of sexual abuse several times, and you think it's the ones who think he is guilty are the ones with the low IQ? 😂

Engage your brain.

kkloo · 13/06/2026 00:57

As an Irish person I'm embarrassed that Ireland was a safe haven for him after the trial, and that the locals protected him.

I don't think I was aware he was here at the time.

I wouldn’t want to ever meet that pedo . And a finding of not guilty does not mean proven innocent.

Oh my god, simple minded people that listen to what the media tells them, like I said, research!

I've done plenty of research and everything is damning against MJ.

You're really not in a position to be calling anyone simple minded given the statement you've made on this thread about people having a low IQ if they think he was guilty. 😅

So everyone that disagrees with you has a low IQ ? Hmmmm , if your evidence was as strong as your arrogance, this discussion would’ve been over already.

He was literally completely protected by his celebrity status....just because he made good music and was a good performer (so did Ian watkins) does not mean he should get a hall pass to innocence but sadly due to too many blinded starstruck fans and friends in high places, he was untouchable and he knew it.No smoke without fire usually, and the evidence has always been clear.

You mean the ones by a man who was witness for the defence during his trial? By a man who only decided he’d been abused by MJ when he was sacked by the MJ estate? Who then decided to sue the estate instead of going to the police?

Going by Wades email where he 'begged for the job' he had been at least somewhat in the running for it at one point but then decided to focus on something else instead, he then went back and asked for the job.

Just before he sent that email he had had a nervous breakdown, and he had one the following year as well, then it was the year after that I believe that he went public with the allegations.

Michael Jackson was dead at that point so why would he have went to the police? The police couldn't do anything 🤔

ItWasInKensington · 13/06/2026 06:55

I've often wondered this too OP and think I've also asked before on celebrity "do you know anyone famous" threads. Not meaning someone who saw him backstage at a concert or in a formal setting, just randomly like at a book shop or something.

I have read many, many books about him and I remember one story where he was determined to be normal so just went inside McDonald's with his children and only a light disguise. I think security were on a different table dressed casually. It only lasted a few minutes before someone recognised him and started screaming so he calmly and immediately jumped up and left. I can't imagine how awful it would be to be that famous.

In truth I don't think many people outside of a professional / hired role would have met him or interacted with him at all and he probably never just you know, went for a walk or strolled around an airport by himself. He constantly had security around him throughout his entire life.

LoudBee · 13/06/2026 07:18

Heee Heeee!!

Tiddlywinkly · 13/06/2026 07:52

The closest I got was apparently he visited Uri Geller at his home in Sonning a few times. I lived a mile or 2 away when growing up.

There's no denying MJ had raw talent and was a fantastic performer, but no one should be sharing their bed with young unrelated boys and they must have at least been shown or been able to access those dodgy books and the briefcase of porn because they had knowledge of it. Why did they also know accurate details about his private parts?

At the most innocent interpretation maybe MJ mistakenly thought himself as a big brother or friend and did not have appropriate boundaries (not excusing his behaviour btw). But I note he appeared to be selective. He wouldn't have tried/shared anything with Macaulay C etc - too famous. So, ultimately I think he was guilty of a pattern of very problematic behaviour or much worse.

It's very difficult to marry that up in my head with a man I idolised, but there we go.

I’m not delusional, there is a big difference between! I feel so bad for you, and remember Michael was found NOT Guilty on all counts! I do believe Rolph was sent to prison 🤔 so…

Please don't feel bad for me - I am quite comfortable in my belief that Michael Jackson was a fucked up paedophile.

Because the police could then start an investigation. Encourage other victims to come forward if there were any. Going straight for the money is very suspicious.

I don't think it's suspicious. It's a fairly common thing that people do, particularly in the US.It doesn't mean anything either way. Jackson was dead, the lawyers may well have advised that it would be highly unlikely that the police would have enough evidence to charge anyone else with wrongdoing and so civil was the way to go. And other victims could have came forward regardless.

Whereas sleeping in bed with boys is highly unusual and highly suspicious.

LoudBee · 13/06/2026 20:27

Have you seen any footage? He said in the Martin Bashir interview that he slept on the floor! Also his bedroom was absolutely huge! He was bought up in a big family so it wasn’t unusual for them all to share a bed, also he answered every question thrown at him! He didn’t hide anything! Look how many children he helped . I’ve seen videos where he looks so fed up of these accusations! I mean where is your proof he is guilty? Where? He was found not guilty! … meanwhile it’s great listening to his amazing music, the film was brilliant!! So uplifting! You’re missing out!

SqueakyFromme · 13/06/2026 20:28

Why did he go to the ‘Child Play Area’ Op ? 🤔

SqueakyFromme · 13/06/2026 20:32

LoudBee · 11/06/2026 20:45

Yes the people that think that MJ is a child abuser, look at the difference between him and Jimmy Saville! MJ was also amazing with animals, he just didn’t have any bad bone in his body and was torn apart, jimmy saville on the other hand makes me feel sick to the stomach and always did!

It’s legitimately documented that he abused his ‘pet’ chimp and who would have a ‘pet’ chimp anyway, that’s cruel in itself, dressing a wild animal in daft outfits is bad enough

SqueakyFromme · 13/06/2026 20:33

Hi @kkloo here we go again eh ?

Owenspannas · 13/06/2026 20:35

He may or may not have accused the boys he invited to sleep overs but the man was clearly a paedophile, he had books of naked young boys posing sexually and countless films featuring “barely legal” young people.

LoudBee · 13/06/2026 20:40

omg seriously!! He paid for his pet chimpanzee care for the rest of his life because he didn’t want him to be dressed up and doing tricks! Abusing his pet chimpanzee? Absolutely madness talking!! 🤦🏼‍♀️ he went to the park assuming because he has his own children??!! You do know who he is right? Going to the park wouldn’t be easy as he was always mobbed! A man who was always crazy busy, always had people around him and yet he had time to do all this rubbish he was accused of?! I can’t be bothered to keep on

MoleskineNotebooks · 13/06/2026 20:42

Honestly, OP, I’d be more interested in why the people of Moate seem to have been weirdly thrilled to have someone famous at their bowling alley. I mean, I’m sure not a lot happens in Moate, but still…

SqueakyFromme · 13/06/2026 20:52

@LoudBee
Allegations that Michael Jackson abused his pet chimpanzee, Bubbles, were famously corroborated by renowned primatologist Jane Goodall.
While Jackson's representatives historically denied it, specific claims and observations about the chimp's treatment include:

  • Jane Goodall's Claims: Goodall stated publicly in 2014 that Bubbles was beaten and mistreated while under Jackson's care. She stated she even confronted Jackson about the treatment, which angered the singer.
  • Jack Gordon's Allegations: LaToya Jackson's ex-husband, Jack Gordon, publicly alleged he witnessed Jackson physically striking Bubbles. Gordon claimed Jackson justified the actions as "discipline".
  • Bubbles' Later Life: As Bubbles matured and became more aggressive—a natural behavioral trait for adult chimpanzees—he was placed with a primate trainer in 2003 and later moved to the Centre for Great Apes, inFlorida, where he resides today.

Also a lot of the animals at his zoo were euthanised due to neglect.

its quite easy to do internet searches but I imagine you think they are all lies

ETA I’ve learned from a previous thread that the Jackson Estate now does take some responsibility for the chimp, and supports him and others however MJ washed his hands of him whilst he was alive, and the Estate are probably only doing that for optics anyway

Mensa level IQ here. Properly tested and everything.

He was a pedophile.
