Maybe it is better that he does not pass new laws. LOL

It could be something like no limit of terms a President can serve, no voting, mandatory contribution to his Ball Room, no vaccines allowed......
We could face mandatory sun bed tanning till we turn orange!

I love pretty much everything about reform, from Nigel's coherent and level-headed policies to his creative bookkeeping to their open-armed (and hearted) immigration stance, so of course I voted for them.

Quite a few people has voted for Reform, with Trump's good friend Farage at the helm.
UK ICE may be closer that I bargained for.....

Yeah...I'm starting to imagine the UK under a whiter, thinner, beer drinking, cigar smoking version of 🌮🍊

And the ceasefire is going well, isn't it? All "quiet" on those seas, coasts and airspace.....
Just a few missiles and drones..... nothing much. It is an "almost ceasefire"......

Ach, it's the new norm.

As at @logicisall said the other day, the weather apps need to be updated to include missile attacks and refinery fires.

" Fine clear weather today, although the south will have choking black smoke and an occasional missile around lunchtime"

From your keyboard to the pertinent Deity’s ears.

Do you think the pope was hoping for some of the Kash bourbon?

https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/2026/05/kash-patel-fbi-bourbon/687066/

My first reaction was that it must be a joke, but then I read the whole of the Atlantic article. Now I’m just completely dumbfounded.

Oh, we can only imagine how much worse chaos would ensue if he did get round to passing laws himself. Thank heavens he doesn’t know how!

Ha ha. Could be @walllaw first and last UK vote.

I jest, I jest :-)

The US news if full of these "leopard ate my face" stories though.

Cuban Woman Voted for Trump Thinking He Would 'Only Deport Criminals.' Now Her Husband Was Deported While Seeking Asylum (latintimes.com)

Farage has said that the detention and assylum centres will be in the areas that did not vote for his party, I have been told.
At least I will not be sent that far while I wait for my deportation. My husband and daughter will not need to drive that far to wave me goodbye LOL
Well, that is if they do drive at that time. There may not be fuel available two years down the line.
Maybe they put us in a galley instead of an airplane to deport us back home. And I have to operate my own oar. I better practice some rowing at the gym!

I may need to pay for my ticket back home! Or pay Trump's sea tolls on the way back! Maybe they sent me to a forced labour mine to extract some orange material till I make enough money to pay!

Lesson 101 on How to Increase the Enemy's Resolve to Stay the Course. Trump doesn't understand that the mere fact that Iran is able to retaliate at all means he's not won yet.
I remember the Sky News analyst saying that given the number of vessels stuck in the Strait and the speed at which they move under escort, even in a congo line formation, it would take over 200 days to clear the backlog. Cost to US taxpayers $$$$$$$$$$$$$$, but his mates don't pay tax, so no hay problema.

And all it would take for ships to not risk it, is a single vessel being attacked.

Trump's probably pleased at "Love tap". I'm the first one to call it that, it's never been done before, well maybe it has, maybe it hasn't."

Last night Donald Trump told ABC News in a phone interview that the retaliatory strikes against Iran were a 'love tap' - not the war restarting.
'It's just a love tap', the commander-in-chief said. When asked if it had broken the ceasefire he said: 'No, no, the ceasefire is going. It's in effect.'
Trump explained that the US was able to get three 'world-class American Destroyers' through the Strait with no damage in a post to Truth Social on Thursday night.

I noticed he is saying no damage, rather than he got them through without being attacked.

Now I am thinking of his " tis but a scratch" claim re the parked plane that was... ahem... damaged.

He has said this - I’m not sure he could do it though - threats, or what he sees as a threat JFC, to ensure votes too, I think that needs to be looked at.

So shite we seem to want some of what the US has - there are more decent folk I still believe, but the right are just shouting louder right now.

I’m finding it shite today, but can’t imagine your level of how shite - do nice things for you, switch off here etc if necessary for a bit - we all need to keep the faith - though it’s bloody hard today.

Take care 💐

What a thing to wake up to, elections with Reform leading! Have the public been so happy with how Trump is running things they want to install our own version? The mind boggles. Staying away from news today as I want the world to stop this morning.

Totally agree and just been having a discussion with one of the DCs saying this. It's a depressing day, I think there must be a lot of unintelligent people in the country... after all, Reform have managed to bankrupt two Councils already and they put in an 18year old to run a council with a £2billion budget. Needless to say he hasn't got a fucking clue what he's doing.

Sorry folks, rant over now.

Have the dolphins bailed yet? A cheery wave and a "thanks for all the fish".

It would not surprise me really. Given that the US have them doing kamikaze missions.

:-)

All going great with the football world cup

Doubt that Trump has ever paid for a ticket though

Haha - he wants cheap to free tickets for his own voters - guess Dems could pay double to cover it to slightly balance out their disloyalty to the kingdom - we do have that option on counter protest coaches to help folk out though.

Just another daily at least wtf from the orange moron I guess.

I woke up to this news and put my head straight into my hands. Dreading the result from my local area where the Reform candidates were barely literate.

Oh and anyone else see something about a $900 million short on oil stocks before that Trump “deal is close” announcement?

I have not spotted anywhere.... yet
