Very happy as I can't stand him

Not surprised here. Don't listen to radio 1, but he came across as creepy and controlling on Race Across the World. His treatment of his husband especially.

I’ve never liked him, I stopped listening to radio 1 because of him and was annoyed he went over to radio 2. I’ve always felt he was better suited to local radio. He comes across a bit sulky, especially when he was on strictly. I’ll be interested to see what’s he been up to though…

I have a short journey to work, 8 mins on a good day, but it coincides with his quiz segment and most of the people on it irritate me too so I drive in silence.

Gary Davies' choice of music is fine but I wish he'd just shut up with that tedious deja woo. I cringe and turn off.

Omg what on earth has happened?! He will be devastated by this. I wondered why ooh Gary was in but assumed Scott was filming celeb traitors!! How wrong can I be (I also thought it was too cold for traitors).

Anyway, fingers crossed Sara's up for taking it on as I can't think of anyone who would be good. Or maybe this is finally OJ's moment?!

I really like Scott, heard Gary Davis this morning and switched it straight off and listened to a podcast instead.

He is so bland though. I'm out of touch with radio 2 now so no idea who would be on the radar. Saw him on an old TOTP the other week and he was barely recognisable.

I thought it was very suspicious that Gary Davis was suddenly at the helm and SM hadn't said he'd be off.

Please don't replace him with some "comedian"

Agree OJ is really a very good dj. I have often wondered why he hasn't been elevated from twilight hours.
