how often do you change your socks?

im a fresh pair every time i get ready

I wear two pairs per day, a daytime pair and a pair of cosy socks at bed time

If I'm going out anywhere I'd wear fresh socks, but if I'm just around the house I'd wear socks for a few days before changing. I obviously don't have smelly feet because I've never noticed a smell on the socks.

If I had fresh socks in the morning, been in all day and then didn’t go out the next day, I may be tempted to have a “pj day” including the same socks. But it would be pretty rare. Who are these people lounging around for days 🤣

It’s so easy to own enough socks to clean them after a single use, so I can’t imagine why people don’t

No wonder we have a climate emergency, the huge contribution of MN clean socks.

I’ve barely worn socks for the last three years since I was pregnant with my youngest and it was too much trouble to put them on. Bare feet straight in to trainers to go out, bare feet at home. I think I wore one pair of socks twice this winter.

How do they get so dirty?

Daily or more if playing sport or swimming etc. It's not even an effort surely.

However, this has reminded me that when I was around 10 I decided to do an experiment 😳 I wore the same socks everyday to see how long it would take for the toes to go hard 😅 😅 I even remember the particular pair lol. Chuckling to myself here.

How small is your washing machine that 4-6 extra socks a week would have you wedded to it ... ?

Daily.

Normal socks - Daily
Bed socks for 2 - 3 nights
Slipper socks I would like to say 2 - 3 days but quite often they last about 2 hours because animals are always knocking their water bowls and I don't always notice the puddle.

Daily. A chiropodist told me that you encourage fungus if you wear tbem more than once.No matter whether you sweat or not. Bacteria still vrows.

Wearing socks at home is unhealthy anyway. Much healthier to go barefoot.

Anyone who doesn't change their socks every day, is absolutely minging.

Yikes I must be minging. I change them every other day. Knickers everyday though.

Hrft. I was a single wear fanatic until I had a child with high needs and a husband disabled by pain, and now I wear socks for 2 days in winter generally. I used to be always paired, now it's 2 clean socks and be grateful I can.
