You can indeed believe what you want. However it’s the belief that everyone else wants to hear it and if they dare to disagree, there are always comments like ‘do your research’ as if you are all party to information that nobody else is.

And where do the conspiracies come from? Oh yes, the internet.

See I don’t understand why when people ask people with these views to explain it, they always say you have to find out/figure it out for yourselves and i’m not doing it for you. Why don’t they just say what they have found out/figured out??

Yes, some people do believe in some or all of the above, plus any number of other things.

If someone wants to believe that the world is flat despite all evidence to the contrary, there is absolutely no point in having a chat with them about it.

Because you most likely believe what you do via school/education/media/generational/cultural beliefs. Think wider. Think for yourself. It’s not right or wrong. Just do it.

Yes. You'd think they they would be keen to share their knowledge with the rest of us.

Because it’s not always the onus on us to explain why we believe what we believe, it’s to make others question why they believe what they believe.

Hundreds of thousands of staggeringly intelligent scientists have researched the global climate over many decades. So do I believe what they say, or do I 'do my own research' and dig around on the internet until I find some random who says it is all rubbish, and believe them instead?🙄

I just had a peep at the ‘Red Pill Women’ group on another forum and one of the first posts says..

It did indeed but now it provides a meeting place for all the like minded people who think they know what’s going on, but are incapable of explaining the logic behind their thinking

I can see that my cat is currently asleep. I have observed his motionless position on the sofa, lack of general movement and the fact that I can hear him snoring. I have drawn on all my many years of experience of the effects of sleep on the body and I have come to the inevitable and obvious conclusion that all of that evidence goes to prove that he is, in fact, asleep.

I don't 'believe' he is asleep. He IS asleep.
