I view myself as awake in the sense you describe. FWIW, I have a science/maths background.

Limiting myself to one small point about covid mentioined above, ... how crazy was it that it took months before the mainstream press reported that there was a virology lab in Wuhan?

Even then it was 'the science deniers are now saying covid came from a lab'. Global narrative control or systematic journalistic and governmental incompetence?

So if you have become a cynic, why do you trust what this other lot are telling you? Surely you should be cynical about everything they say as well.

Genuine question. When you say “the government” are you referring to Boris, Matt Hancock etc? Or is it another secret layer that aren’t public facing?

Yes I am equally cynical, that’s true. I question it all, that’s the whole point. And I sure as hell don’t trust governments, with their track records.

This is your thread and you've not actually specified any beliefs. So who knows where I stand compared to you or any research I've done. But, yes, if, for example I were to come on here discussing covid vaccines, I'd be bringing reputable sources and peer reviewed studies. Often I find "awake" people cite blogs and fluff pieces by random people. Or simply tell you to do your own research.

What I was trying to post before is why the anger? So what if some people believe the earth is flat, Covid was a lie in order to kill off the population and climate change is a scaremongering tactic?
