A chat thread for those who don't like this Labour government. 💙 🩵

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

Thank you @TheNuthatch.

The evil marionette was also interviewed this evening and waffled on about lifting children out of charity. Do they really have nothing original to say or are they under orders to repeat their usual mantras?

Whereistheejectbutton · 09/02/2026 18:15

@TheNuthatch did you see the latest on times that Streeting is saying no 10 briefing against him whilst he was making his support speech? Saying he’s in cahoots with Anas Sarwar…

maybe this isn’t all over yet…

Well, the good news is, Starmer’s capacity to fuck up is unparalleled.
I’m happy to wait a little longer.

Besides, Ange is still doing her hair, and she has the outstanding HMRC matter to resolve.

Whereistheejectbutton · 09/02/2026 18:38

It’s incredible isn’t it? Just when you think their ducks are in a row, Streeting and No 10 unleash a new spat. Their ability to control the message is nil!

Excellent.

AI is scary though: so real looking.

That’s my fave of theirs. They look a bit better than the real deal imo

Thanks for the new thread @TheNuthatch !

Love it!
I like Starmer in the CG videos. Shame about the real life version.

Good grief, have they learned nothing ffs. I haven't seen that story.

I was just reading about Streeting's interview with Beth Rigby. He's done a pod (electoral dysfunction) this afternoon. He's put out his messages with Mandelson, probably trying to get ahead of the curve to keep his leadership ambitions alive.
I'll listen to it once I've fed the zoo.

Here’s a couple of messages

In a message to Mr Streeting, Lord Mandelson said the Government “doesn’t have an economic philosophy which is then followed through in a programme of policies”.

The Labour MP replied: “No growth strategy at all.”

JaneVtwaddle · 09/02/2026 20:17

I've just listened to him. He was trying to back pedal on that message he wrote about growth. 😬
There was also a message exchange between him and Mandy after one of the (many) comms directors had been fired resigned, saying that the problem in not comms. Wes would fit right in on this thread 😂

I laughed at Ruth Davidson. Harriet Harman was banging on about Starmer should stay, mandate, duty, blah blah.
RD said - but he's crap and trashing your polling. 😂

Edited

Haha and yes he would.

I don’t follow but being shown two Labour IG posts bloody hell they are bad. Cringe city. The comments are funny

At least somebody in the cabinet recognises that their party has no growth strategy at all.

God what a shambles and it’s all just going to get worse.

The calibre of those circling is just so poor. I never in my wildest imagination thought that I would look fondly at the Tony Blair era. I’m no labour supporter at all, but this debacle is just crucifying. Businesses up and down the country need stability and people in the treasury to have a basic understanding of how businesses work and provide growth to the economy. I knew this crowd were going to be awful but I thought they might have a modicum of common sense and basic economic knowledge but apparently not.

DiySteve · 09/02/2026 21:01

Starmer - it’s all about him isn’t it? The little twerp.

Fuck everyone else and the damage he is inflicting on the country.

I hope the 26th sees him and Labour utterly smashed.

DenizenOfAisleOfShame · 09/02/2026 21:12

I’m laughing at the pro-Starmer posts around MN. How delusional can people be?

He’s going, it’s over. All the ‘support’ from his cabinet is just keeping him in place until there’s a better time to strike. They’re hoping to wait until the by-election or May elections force Starmer out - no blood on their hands that way - and to allow the stink of Mandelson to drift away.

He’s a phantom PM now.

Same, same.

I can't even look at photos of him anymore, its visceral. Just seen a pap of him in the car en route to see his MPs. 🤮

Two more sleeps until PMQs - if he lasts that long. I bet Kemi can't wait.

I haven't looked at any other threads today. Why on earth are they still sticking up for the snivelling little shit? How bad does he need to get before they reach their limit?

Same as the GE - it’s tactical MN bollocks - less pro-Starmer, more anti-Farage.
Their frothing and foaming at Farage says it all.

It’s like June 2024 out there on some threads, echoing the cheering in the PLP and rallying from cabinet etc

Whether it lasts we’ll see.

I heard a line from Starmer which was ill making - I’ve never lost a fight or something like that. The trouble is much of the electorate feel he’s fighting them. That makes him utterly woeful to deal with.

TheNuthatch · 09/02/2026 21:24

Ah, so they're framing Starmer as the last line of defence against Farage?

Don't they realise that Starmer is the reason that Farage is polling at 30%? (As Eastern rightly predicted if Labour won the GE).
Oh well, let them crack on. The longer Starmer stays, the worse Labour's chances become.

"I have won every fight I've ever been in".

Agree with your remarks on that line. This is why he is so hated by the public. Far worse than any other PM.
