So what you are saying @Carpediemtoday, is that these heavily armed folk cruising the streets while dressed like cosplay Taliban/ ISIS are not picking convicted felons out of jail/ grabbing people off the street etc, all of which is widely reported. But that they are actually forensic accountants, painstakingly picking their way through accounts and applications for federal cash.

This must mean that these ICE folk we see photos of have their spreadsheet loaded laptops well hidden. Perhaps it's not ballistic body armour they wear. It's actually cleverly disguised tactical laptops ?

Anyway, all that does not answer the question I asked. Why is Trump so keen on deporting people involved in fraud ? Should they not at least be arrested for fraud and be tried first ?

Especially given your claim that elected officials are involved. I would have thought any corrupt officials would be super keen to see any alleged partners in crime escorted to the border and deported ASAP.

Go to the link in my post for goodness sake, to get the correct information. They will of course have trained accountants to work out the the financial fraud!

I did click your link. and I saw fraud mentioned, but not as an ICE specific thing. I also checked the DOJ site, and fraud and financial crime is right up there.

I am surprised the SS is also not involved. Mail is in their remit, and surely the post was used ?

I say "captured", because what they really do with these felons is arrest them in jail, where they usually are.

I do not see any convicted fraudsters in that list.
