What did you eat today?
I love reading what people have (and getting new ideas/recipes).
My new year new habit is to have a side of veg with each meal (and eat it first).

Breakfast - Sourdough toast with soft cheese & bagel seasoning, side of cucumber/tomatoes,

Snack - Crisps

Lunch - Stovies with beetroot (traditional in my part of Scotland)

Snack - Christmas choc (trying to get through this)

Teatime snack - Bowl of homemade lentil & veg soup, a couple of crackers

Dinner - I am going to a pub quiz so will have a wee something to eat from their bar bites menu!

Yesterday

B - a cappuccino

L - lunch out for mother's day. Popcorn cauliflower to start and a mushroom and rocket pizza for main, plus a glass of prosecco

D - still full from lunch so just had some peanuts and dark chocolate with a cup of tea

Today

B - a cappuccino and a ginger shot

L - avocado and scrambled eggs on sourdough with mixed seeds

D - black bean fajitas

S - lemon and turmeric tea and grapes

L - Carrot and butter bean soup with pitta bread

D - Ginger sesame tofu with rice, broccoli and cabbage

L- Costa ham and cheese toastie (my daughter is Costa obsessed!)

D- teriyaki broccoli burger from Aldi, with a wholemeal roll, a potato waffle and peas

Usual 20 gallons of Earl Grey, some 7-Up Zero and a bottle of electrolytes

Yesterday was a really delicious day.

Orange chia seed pudding with yoghurt, almonds, pumpkin seeds, granola, dark choc
Mushrooms on sourdough
Went to an Italian cafe and shared a couple of pastries, one with ricotta and anchovy, one with leeks and mozzarella, and a sourdough toastie with sauerkraut, cheddar and mustard - sounds weird but was amazing
For dinner I made a one pot chicken chilli with black beans, with yoghurt, avocado and cucumber on the side
Raspberry dark chocolate

B: Boiled egg (possibly the smallest egg I've ever seen!) on half a slice of heavily buttered sourdough toast. A Ferrero Rocher

S1: Sliced chicken breast, wholegrain mustard, cucumber

L: Chicken and veg Thai red curry

S2: Tuna mayo and orange pepper

Pre-run: Rice cake with honey

Post-run: Protein shake

Dinner: Whatever my eldest chooses to cook from the Hello Fresh box

My usual 40 litres of Earl Grey, some Diet Irn Bru, and electrolytes. Might go wild and have some water!

Lunch- beans on toast with a sprinkle of cheese

Snack- cheesestring

Dinner- Faggots baby potatoes kale, sweet potato and gravy. Maybe some green beans too.

L - toast with marmite, peanut butter and mixed seeds

D - sweet potato, spinach and chickpea curry with cauliflower rice

S - I went to Starbucks and the sun was shining so I got an iced brown sugar espresso with oat milk and it was really nice!
