What did you eat today?
I love reading what people have (and getting new ideas/recipes).
My new year new habit is to have a side of veg with each meal (and eat it first).

Breakfast - Sourdough toast with soft cheese & bagel seasoning, side of cucumber/tomatoes,

Snack - Crisps

Lunch - Stovies with beetroot (traditional in my part of Scotland)

Snack - Christmas choc (trying to get through this)

Teatime snack - Bowl of homemade lentil & veg soup, a couple of crackers

Dinner - I am going to a pub quiz so will have a wee something to eat from their bar bites menu!

B - bacon sausage egg tomato toast 1/4 bottle cava
Tea - fruit cake lebkuchen shortbread, glass of port
Pre-dinner - G&T, peanuts
Dinner - roast beef, roast potatoes, carrot swede mash, sprouts, yorkies, gravy, wine

Homemade sushi for lunch at work, it looked great but fell apart as soon as I tried to eat it so I'm obviously not as good at sushi making as I thought.

Salt and pepper chicken stir fry for tea.

I am tracking all my food again after not bothering over Christmas so I think I have about 300 calories left after tea. I may have an ice cream or see how many calories are in a chocolate orange.

Lunch - Butternut squash and chilli soup and grilled chicken salad
Dinner - Salmon burger with roasted courgette, pepper, onion, tomatoes and broccoli.

This morning I had a chocolate vegan protein powder shake with gut health boosting powder blend, chia seeds, flaxseed and walnut blend, frozen raspberries, frozen spinach and almond milk. It was way too cold for how cold it is! I still haven’t recovered!!

Dinner with my toddler - tomato pasta with cheese and peas.

@Thesofathatwas , have you been to your GP and had tests to rule out some medical reason why you’re not losing weight?
You’re not eating enough and not fuelling your metabolism. You must know you can’t carry on eating like this? Mounjaro doesn’t work for everyone, have you tried Wegovy? How long have you been using the medication and what dose are you on? You really need to be communicating with your supplier.
I have found people are very helpful on the weight loss chats here, why not start a thread and see if you can get some advice. I hope things work out for you. 💐

Previously started a thread because I wondered if it was just me that found it doesn’t work, unfortunately I was utterly utterly ripped to shreds. I was made to feel like shit.

Been on it since August, 7.5mgs now.
Genuinely, if I go above 1000 cals the weight rapidly piles on. All blood tests normal.
Im peri menopausal which has COMPLETELY changed every single physical aspect of my being. Startling and scary.

Im keeping going with such hope though! The nausea reminds me very much of morning sickness, it’s one on its own. Very distinct.

Indulgent food day today!
Late breakfast/brunch- sausage and tomato sandwich on white buttered bread, cup of tea.
Coffee
2 X glasses of water
Snack- roast chicken crisps, half a baby bel that my daughter left!
Another cup of tea, selection of biscuits- 4 X biscuits. Handful of barbecue coated peanuts
Dinner- Homemade Chinese chicken curry, long grain rice
Coke zero.
Will probably have a slice of leftover new year cheesecake

Back on it next week when me and oh are back to work and kids are back to school.

Breakfast was fat free yoghurt with honey and blueberries
Lunch 4 x dark ryvita with cottage cheese and cucumber, apple Soreen bar.
Tea is roast beef dinner with trimmings, apple crumble and custard for afters.
Feels like Sunday.

3 slices of streaky bacon and a slice of black pudding grilled plus a large grilled tomato and scrambled egg with a slice of wholemeal toast with salted butter.

2 M&S shortbread biscuits

Chicken Kiev, steamed spinach, baby sweetcorn and mange tout.

Greek yogurt and bannana

B1 - a crumpet and coffee
B2 - bowl of cherries with cottage cheese
L - bowl of tomato soup, 2 rye crackers with butter
D - fish finger burger with coleslaw
Snacks - 4/5 maltesers, cappuccino, handful of raspberries, couple of crisps.
Going to the gym now to save myself from more snacks.
Will have a glass of white wine after the gym.

Porridge, 5 Co-op Christmas brownie bites, a slice of toast and pate and slight redemption for dinner with chicken, potatoes and veg and a banana for after.

I did a killer workout earlier so expunging the brownie bites from the official record.

Breakfast: a banana and a slice of toast with passionfruit and mango curd (which my friend made!).

Lunch: Spanish tortilla with salad, apple slices with almond butter

Snack: plain tortilla chips

Dinner: homemade pizza. I can't have gluten and dh is experimenting with a homemade gf pizza dough recipe. Based on the swearing from the kitchen, I don't think it's going well 😬

Lunch - oat milk latte and a slice of rocky road

Dinner - beef and mince meatballs with tagliatelle and pasta sauce, Parmesan cheese and garlic bread

Snack - Fibre one slice

Skyr yogurt with fruit for breakfast. Don’t normally eat breakfast on non work days but hit an all time low on the scales and I’m looking scrawny.

Couscous salad with chicken breast for lunch, skyr and yogurt mid afternoon.

Chorizo and tomato pasta this evening.

Gym this morning for a weights session and a 7 mile walk this afternoon.

I’m 4 and a half stone down last year with intermittent fasting but really struggling with maintenance! My weight hasn’t been so low since I was a child and i really can’t afford to lose anymore.

Lunch some chips,cheese and mayo didn't eat much of it.

Dinner a small bowl of pasta in sauce and 1 slice of bread.

I've not had much of an appetite since Christmas for some reason.

Lunch - scoopable salad* eaten with tortilla chips
Dinner - sausage and tomato pasta, and a slice of Christmas cake

This is a pretty normal day for me if you exclude the Christmas cake.

Today I'm living of soup and bread chicken noodle soup. Got tonsillitis so swallowing is to painful. Took first lot of antibiotics this afternoon.
