Don Snoreleone trying to stay awake long enough to bring all his racist dreams to fruition. So when can we bring about his personal "civilisational erasure”?

Step one in the plan to cancel the mid-terms.

TokyoSushi · 03/01/2026 09:28

Don’s been on Truth Social, says Maduro has been ‘captured’ and flown out of Venezuela. Sky News suggesting that the bombing is a cover for while they were doing that, possibly a negotiated exit by Maduro.

Press conference from the WH on Sea at 11am ET

RafaistheKingofClay · 03/01/2026 09:37

Can’t imagine why the Nobel institute wouldn’t give him a peace prize.
I think starting a war and then ‘capturing’ the leader of another country ought to be counted as more than -1.

If anyone country other than the USA did this there would be sanctions. I assume we won’t be seeing any.

I can’t remember who, but on one of the many podcasts I listen to someone suggested that there would be a negotiated exit offered. Might have been Mooch.

Next question is, what happens next? Will there be elections or a US puppet put in place? I’m sure Eric/Don Jr/Jared all fancy having their own country to play at being a Dear Leader in.

Agreed. I honestly think the rest of the world has given up on the USA and, like most of us on here, are just waiting for the 🍊💩 to go. (Preferably to meet his maker)

The insane thing is that at no point have the US actually declared war on Venezuela. If you can just waltz into a country you aren’t at war with and capture the leader I’ve got some places we can start the list with…

Efacsen · 03/01/2026 10:00

Attack on Caracas took place at 4am local time and Maduro called a State of Emergency before being 'taken out of the country'

Imagine if Trump did this to Rome or Paris???

DuncinToffee · 03/01/2026 10:00

FIFA peace prize is going well then FFS

CaveMum · 03/01/2026 10:05

I’ve looked it up, it was Mooch. This is what was said on 19 December, referring to Susie Wiles VF interview:

“There's a tell in the story on Venezuela. And what did she say?

She said, and I quote, okay, we're going to keep blowing up boats until he cries uncle. Nicolas Maduro cries uncle. Now, knowing Trump's personality, they're going to say there are narco terrorists somewhere in Venezuela, and they're going to missile strike areas of Venezuela.

And they're going to say that we're blowing up drug factories or whatever. And guess where they're going to be? They're going to be near military installations.

So that the generals who are loyal to Maduro pick up the phone and say, hey, buddy, it's now time to move to Turkey. Okay? It's now time to move to Turkey.

Okay? It's right there in the Vanity Fair article, okay? What I'm telling you is right there in the Vanity Fair article.

His argument that this is just about the drugs and about immigration, I think she has revealed in Nicolas Maduro, until President Nicolas Maduro cries uncle, is a way of saying they want regime change in Venezuela, which is going to be a problem for them because Congress is not, at that point, you have to go to Congress.

But why do they want regime change?

Yeah, why do they? I think that's still the, unless it's just all about the oil. We spoke about this on Monday with Michael Steele when he was on the program, but I think it's all about the oil, right?

Yeah, and that was a great show, by the way.

We missed you.

I appreciate you lying to me and telling me that you missed me, but Michael Steele is a superstar, as are you, and that was a great show.

<waffles for a bit about where he was while Michael Steele stood in>

“But Katty, they're going into Venezuela for the money. Okay, that's what they're going there for. And by the way, some of the Trump family members have written to me and said, hey Mooch, I'm not going to be involved with the oil permits.

You got to walk that back. So I am walking that back. But it's more of a gestalt thing, Katty.

It's, where did that tanker go? We captured the tanker. Where did the tanker go?

We took the oil, Katty. Yeah. Okay, so let's just be honest with people, what the US is doing and why Trump is doing it, okay?”

RafaistheKingofClay · 03/01/2026 10:05

Yeah it’s not looking good for the reputation of inaugural FIFA peace prize.

PerkingFaintly · 03/01/2026 10:08

Well fuck.

Or the actual Nobel PP as she has been encouraging Trump to do exactly this ever since she won the prize.

walllaw · 03/01/2026 10:11

Got up and we went straight out with the dogs to let them frolic in the frost. Made the mistake of coming back and looking at the news. Thinking it might be for the best to go back to bed. Can this era please be over soon?

Agree it was probably a negotiated exit, so why are we invading? These are very populated areas. Christ.

Yup.

HighStreetOtter · 03/01/2026 10:12

How on earth can Trump do this? He’s like an American Putin!

Elon Musk demonstrating just how important it is to him to protect women from male abuse. Again.

Elon Musk's Grok AI alters images of women to digitally remove their clothes
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c98p1r4e6m8o
Clare McGlynn, a law professor at Durham University, said X or Grok "could prevent these forms of abuse if they wanted to", adding they "appear to enjoy impunity".
"The platform has been allowing the creation and distribution of these images for months without taking any action and we have yet to see any challenge by regulators," she said.
XAI's own acceptable use policy prohibits "depicting likenesses of persons in a pornographic manner".

Yeah, but he hates trans people, so that's fine.

*I have FWR blocked on here, so I don't actually know what they're saying about this, but that seems to have been the general feeling about Musk/X over there.

DuncinToffee · 03/01/2026 10:28

Venezuelan Vice President Delcy Rodríguez confirms President Nicolas Maduro and his wife are missing and demands "proof of life".

Trump giving a press conference from his home?

TemporarilyCantDoMyself · 03/01/2026 10:28

Breaking on Sky - Russia condemns 'act of armed aggression.'

I just don't know what to say really.
Except fuck. And, what? 😳

logicisall · 03/01/2026 10:30

Russia has called it an 'act of aggression'.

DuncinToffee · 03/01/2026 10:30

It's going all Putin's way, he must be loving it

CaveMum · 03/01/2026 10:36

We all knew that Congress were spineless but now we know that the US military are no better than “just following orders”.

Not a single person in the chain of command prepared to say no. How’d that work out for the SS guards at Nuremberg? They do realise Trump is the only one immune from prosecution right?

Efacsen · 03/01/2026 10:37

Trumps pleased with himself

''A lot of good planning and lot of great, great troops and great people.
It was a brilliant operation, actually.''

logicisall · 03/01/2026 10:38

Regime change was needed in Venezuela, but not this way. But reports coming in that it was an exit negotiated by Maduro. What happens next?
I'm not convinced that any new gov't will not also be corrupt. And of course the Trump family and broligarchs will be in the country quicker than vultures on a dead zebra in the Serengeti.
