A chat thread for those who don't like this Labour government. 💙* *

We are bracing for the budget. 😬

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

Clive Lewis is such a shit stirrer. It would be funny if it all weren't so bloody desperate at the moment.

I should think the bullies from the Brexit/Covid days are outnumbered now?

💯 but happy to see him cause a split.

Ooh

Sorry that was to Clive post on the move, agree with this though!

Actually, they'd want to be careful doing that. The MRP polling suggests that Reform are hot on the heels of Labour in Norwich South. The idea that he could just step aside and let Burnham take the crown may end up with some serious egg on face.

It totally deflates Starmer’s it’s the mean press doing this. It’s his own side.

Can he even do that? He was the MP elected, not Burnham.

I think he'd have to step down and trigger a by election.

Yep.
Nowhere is a 'safe' Labour seat anymore. Its testament to how poor they have been in government.

I saw that. Wouldn’t they all be living in “mansions” too is or is there some way they can wriggle out of it if they are MPs - wouldn’t be surprised.

@twistyizzy nice to see you posting again even if just briefly.

I'm sure they'll find a way to wriggle out of it. Starmer's is worth a few million.
Most Labour MPs seem to prefer buying lots of smaller houses rather than one big one.

Yep I’m not surprised at anyone leaving for a while. It’s been the case since the pandemic pretty much.

Also Brexit. The Brexit board posters succeeded in the end driving off anyone who disagreed.

Some were complaining about this thread existing because they can’t keep hounding the same posters. It really is that bad.

Yeah, I'll put the interactive map up because it's really interesting to see how close the red on the map is to being knocked on the head. For example, Wallasey is red, with a predicted Labour win but the voting intention is 36% Labour 36% reform.

But, but...one of them during PMQs was braying about Labour's huge majority (completely ignoring their downward trajectory in the polls and obvious "buyer's remorse" from those who voted them in.🙄

Thanks.
Strange that the Greens are so low on that poll. They're at 17 on YouGov.
