Definitely Woolworths.

Beatties. It was a model shop. I used to spend far too long in there, and when I had the money, would buy a model kit and all the paints.

Our local Beales department store for make-up, perfume, shoes and clothes. It’s now an hours drive to the nearest John Lewis.

Now that brings back happy memories of Saturday mornings with my dad and brothers.

I miss Wilkos so much. I quite often wonder where people go to get stuff they used to get from wilkos.
home bargains, B&M, the range… it’s just not quite the same.

I only ever went in Debenhams if I needed a wedding outfit.

When my local one closed, one of the staff positioned a load of mannequins in sexual positions in the windows 😂

Debenhams (used to be Roches Stores) - I bought a lot of my clothes there, especially in the Mantaray Section. And I always bought my Christmas wrapping paper there. I shopped there regularly and I especially loved it at Christmas.

The Early Learning Centre

Early Learning Centre still exists. It's part of The Entertainer now.
They sell all ELC branded baby/toddler/pre school toys including Happyland.
I think The Entertainer need to shout from the rooftops about this because so many people don't seem to realise.

Thanks @Needmorelego but we don't have any 'Entertainer' shops here in ROI. And I don't have any babies or small children to buy for at present. But I loved that shop.

Wilkos more recently but more than anything I miss The Pier! 😥
