A chat thread for those who don't like this Labour government. 💙

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

I need some help folks. Carpets. Do I go for a twist pile wool in light beige or a berber loop pile in light beige/mix.

I concur with the pp. I would go with the twist pile as its easier to keep clean.

Why don't you get some self awareness and work it out for yourself?

Why are you so passive aggressive in your response?

Oh my. Where to even begin.

Maybe because you were fucking rude to me last night! Jesus wept.

My appetite is fierce post surgery, could be the drugs but I've just eaten a really squirty jam doughnut which was absolutely heavenly.

NoWordForFluffy · 05/11/2025 14:58

Sorry!

I shall go and do some cross stitch...keep my hands busy and ignore goady twats! 😇

I would love a picture of those when you've finished them. They're so lovely.

I had to do cross stitch at school. The result the grubbiest tattiest rag you've ever seen.

placemats · 05/11/2025 15:03

I love crossstitch as does my daughters. It's a beautiful skill passed down from generation to generation.

Okay, I'm really appreciating more in common more and more lately:

Why is there a black hole? How did that happen?

Nice to see you over here again Placey.

How did the gathering go, over the fence? I trust your mate Pandora got home ok. I’m a quiet fan of hers so do pass on my regards,

BTW, this government did not inherit a financial black hole. That was a Labour invention just like the more recent lame Labour excuses for them poisoning the economy.

But, anyway, pop back whenever. But leave the Co-op wine behind. We have plenty of good stuff in the garage.

Man- I do a half day of not-work and we are on another thread and page 7 already.

I've done the first 3 cards. I'm onto different ones now (religious-themed for both sets of parents). There's nothing recognisable in the first of those to show yet! Xmas Grin

So shall I bring the brandy snaps to dip?

I do apologise for upsetting you.

🤣🤣 funny you say that. I had a very saintly veggie sushi selection fom lidl for lunch.....then ruined all my good intentions with a jam doughnut! Don't worry too much about it at the moment, you need fuel to repair yourself.
