A chat thread for those who don't like this Labour government. 💙

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

At least she's crying in private this time. Actually, Starmer seems to have gone awol too. Haven't seen never-here-Kier since PMQs last week.

Meh to cat taxers. They are irrelevant.

Complete change of subject because they frankly bore me now:
DD has just run upstairs screaming that she got a Q right on Only Connect. The answer was "KENS MOJO DOJO CASA HOUSE" from the Barbie movie 🤣🤣 DH refused to accept her answer but it turns out she was right!

Edited

And there you were thinking your Classics trip to Greece was educational. That didn’t help her with Connections Only Connect did it? All she needed, was the Barbie film 😂😂. You could’ve saved your cash 😂😂 🇬🇷

She's looking pretty good. Clearly finding ways to tax the rich is good for her.

Progressives who don’t want to deport foreign criminals will never beat Reform

I never thought I’d hear a Labour MP tell this truth.

Edited

Labour HQ will have to book him in to be reprogrammed. He's clearly a Reformite 🚨

Is it just me, or does Reeves look dosed up recently?
She has a 'medicated' look about her.

He’s going through the ‘one flew over the cuckoos nest’ experience as we type.

Its good to know that some of them understand what the problem is, even if they hide it well. MT will be well aware that he'll lose his seat if things continue as they are.

I have 2nd hand embarrassment for Labour supporters on mn. Every other thread is people who are fuming with Labour. Council tax, 45k, etc. Anyone justifying the largesse they get on the state such as old school state sector pensions and endless benefits are put in their place by the overwhelming majority now. Socialists spending everyone else’s money because they feel entitled.

It is such a turn up for the books. I never thought I’d see it. People are done. Really done.

Yes a lot more directly calling out socialism and even Fabianism now 👏👏👏
Many openly regretting their vote in the GE.

I don't know what people feel the tell-tale signs are, I mostly had weight gain issues

I would've had zero career without medication, though. So I can totally see how it helps.

I don't see anything obvious from my perspective, but physical weight gain was my main side effect, I know some people get a puffy face.

I look more normal when I'm medicated, though. It's confusing.

And Starmer’s promise to “tread lightly on our lives” is coming up on many threads too. Of all the ridiculous things he has said this probably takes the biscuit.

Yes thanks to Eastern on the 45K thread 👍

"Your Party" now has 50,000 members according to an email they sent me. I'm surprised.

Yes its a big change, especially on MN.
I live in a very wc northern Labour area. Today I bumped into a local dog walkers, who is a typical working class northern woman. I chat to her regularly, but usually just about dogs, the weather etc.
I have a soft spot for one of the dogs she walks daily, and she told me that the dog is emigrating to Aus tomorrow (his family left 6 weeks ago).

She then explained that this will be the third family to leave out of her customers this year, which led her to a massive I-hate-Labour rant.
If people like her are angry, Labour are fuxked.

I don't know really, but I've noticed a difference. She just looks wide-eyed recently. I feel quite concerned for her health when I see that she's clearly struggling to cope.
