A chat thread for those who don't like this Labour government.

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

Yeah sorry, I just don’t trust anything this lot say or do - they couldn’t lie straight in bed.

No, you're right to question the motive.
Just look at the date for the embassy decision. I hope the press are watching them like hawks over the Xmas break.

I just hope that some mechanism in parliament can be found to stop them implementing ID without a mandate from the public.

Meanwhile, some wag has helpfully suggested that Starmer should change his name to Li Ying Wang Kier….

That embassy. The plans are mysterious. Basement levels. It's huge as well. Gives me the Heebie jeebies

I missed that. Was it good?
Tom T is fuming from what I've read.

It was good - not least because of the number of Labour MPs, who instead of supporting and generally toeing the government line, posed some very awkward questions.

I wouldn't be surprised if there are defections in the offing; the goons at the top haven't just stiffed everyone who voted for them, but also their own MPs who are probably getting a lot of grief from their constituents - not least over the unmandated almost total withdrawal of the WFA for starters.

A new low for this country as Maccabi Tel Aviv fans have been banned from next weeks Europa League match with Aston Villa at Villa Park Birmingham.

This because West Midlands Police are unable to guarantee the safety of Jewish fans in a predominately Islamic part of Birmingham.

Yes, cannot imagine that some of the HK expats will be thrilled.

It’s an admission of complete failure. The bullies are in charge now.

Israeli fan ban is a stain on Britain’s reputation

Utterly shameful. And Starmer comments as if he is just an average bloke on social media, not the man who is supposed to be IN CHARGE of the bloody country!

West Midlands Police’s stance is a shaming moment for the UK and seems likely to be a spark that will ignite a political powderkeg

All those job opportunities, gone.

Wales didn't fight for our steelworks. Turn their noses up at coal production. Want to reduce beef farming by 50% by 2030.

They haven't got a business sense molecule in their bodies. It wasn't always like this. Harold Wilson knew people needed to work to stop them getting into mischief.

Ed Conway asked Reeves about this in an interview. She didn't seem particularly bothered, just an oh-well kind of response. She is so out of her depth, they all are.
