A chat thread for those who don't like this Labour government.

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

Curiously, in the marketing blurb for the ones near us, whilst they provide a floor plan, they leave out the measurements and square footage…

That doesn't surprised me

They want them to sell and are asking a premium £/m2.

Over 1000 migrants arrived here by boat yesterday. Meanwhile the number returned so far under Starmer’s 1 one out scheme is 7.

This is just insane - the numbers are getting bigger and bigger. If Starmer wanted to stop this happening he would, but he doesn't want to.

1075 in 15 boats in one day !

Why do you think he doesn't want to stop the boats? It is not an easy task, but I don't think it is true to claim he doesn't want to?

Whilst Starmer is dancing in India looking silly. Kudos to the picture editor in the DM for that one.

Of course he could do something if he wanted to. He knows the law inside and out and could make the necessary changes to the law to deal with the problem. From my understanding Kier Starmer been very effective in changing the law in other situations!.

Illegal immigrants come here because they know they'll be housed, fed, clothed, given money and mobile phones, sent on trips to the theatre or the seaside ...They also know the law is soft on crime when it comes to illegal immigrants.

Kier Starmer could put a stop to this immediately if he wanted to, but he won't. He could use the military if he wanted to, but he won't.

Other countries have successfully managed to do something about illegal immigration so there's no reason why we can't.

He and his cabinet have hardly covered themselves in glory in this department. He's had 15 months to make inroads and has done nothing, in fact numbers have gone up, so if the shoe fits...

He also scrapped Rwanda with nothing to replace it 🤷‍♂️

The batshit Greens are obviously picking up some of the loony Labour votes

Shows how loony tunes Labour voters are. The greens have no credibility whatsoever. If possible, Even worse than Labour.

I guess it’s the system to blame. More than anything. I implore any one thinking it’s a good idea to vote green to talk to residents of Brighton and hove. Still suffering from the batshit years of Green council.

Pretty much this. It’s his own doing.

Those numbers below are something. Greens picking up, the rest well what can you say. I like the plus 3 for cons in that FON poll one.

He said he was going after the gangs and "smashing the gangs '.

There are many things they can do to swerve the tide away from us and make it not worth while including a massive crack down on these delivery scooters with l plates.
Police could be going after them if your innocent and can provide insurance /driver's license and whatever else fine.
Media coms saying you won't get to stay of you come here via a boat change the laws that have put us in this ridiculous situation where we are supposed to be providing refuge and sanctuary and yet we are taking huge no of young men whilst the women and children are left in supposedly peril but that's ok because the journey is perilous?

I agree that they haven't got a grip on it yet, but I don't think that is deliberate on their part. They know they need to sort it to have any chance against Farage.

Sorry I respect fully disagree that it isn't intentional. They've had 14 years to prepare and with all the resources they have at their disposal it is very hard to justify the wilful destruction of the economy etc.
They have come in and made things worse, that's either because they are completely incompetent or it's because they are doing it on purpose

Fair enough, but why would they do it on purpose. eta: I mean why would they deliberately fail to stop the boats?

Well I suppose the cynical amongst us might say there lies future Labour voters.
