If babies could be bought at shops, where would yours have come from?

DD1 mentioned how disgusting she thought it was that she was inside me. I said that it is a bit weird, and if I could have bought her from a shop, I would have done. She feels confident that she'd have been a John Lewis baby, but decided that DD2 is more a sort of IKEA vibe as she's more chaotic, but does the job of being a child.

If you'd have bought your children from a shop, which one do you think they'd have come from?

DS from the Lego shop

Pets at home - not because she's an animal but because she's all about animals (an RVN now, always been animal mad) and as a pp said delivered by Evri as was 11 days late and needed repeated 'encouragement' to actually arrive!

... see my post just up there about the Mugwump. Or there was a shop in Leicester called the Very Bazaar Grin

Used to love the Very Bazaar as a teen!

Dd1 was definitely a custom job that perhaps went a little astray because the instructions got muddled - quirky, very clever, own person and bit screwed up (adult now and independent) dd2 not sure, perhaps John Lewis, certainly likes brands and nice things

It is weird that you actually grow them inside you isn’t it.

I struggle to wrap my head around that and I’ve both got one and currently pregnant. You just… carry around another human inside your body, take them for a swim, off to meetings etc.

So weird.

Yes it’s the weirdest thing in the world yet the most natural at the same time, and why we are here.

The local farm shop, the one where the proper farmers get supplies, not the kind that sell expensive veg and gifts.

Some posh meatmonger, he loves his meat at 6.5 months old and might as well have been born with an animal bone in his mouth.

Total bloke at 6 months old, he likes boobs, meat and pointing at other people's beers.
