The government really needs to sort out this whole PA thing. The 'freedom of speech' rally next week will evidence that far right believers can turn up and say hateful things and spread violent ideas (obviously they don't really want freedom of speech, we all know that) . Juxtaposed against this arresting scores people at what looks like form the outside an entirely peaceful OAP protest is not a good look.

I don't assume Yvette Cooper is lying about the reasons for proscribing them as a group, although the reason given on the government website are extraordinarily jarring next to other proscribed groups.

I'm fairly certain the sectarian banners and flags at Old Firm matches are simply confiscated which surely is a better solution.

It leaves a bit of a bad taste.

It doesn't actually do anyone any favours to have these blurry lines either. And it still leads to everyone involved feeling resentment/ as of they are unfairly targeted even when (as in the far right protests) they are given more leeway. It doesn't stop them complaining about 2 tier etc

Yeah, I am quite liking the number of people on that thread who are disgusted by TR and his ilk.

Some very RW posters have very loudly appeared but they are hugely outnumbered thus far. Good news.

what I find most galling is that Braverman, the daughter of immigrants seems to think other generational immigrants can’t or won’t take similar action. I sometimes wonder if she believes the crap she spouts 😂

I delved into that one. OP backtracked fairly quickly when her faux nativity was called out and she moaned about people’s responses - and people pointed out that’s because she have freedom of speech 😂

I see that now there is no more fun to be had with RaynOr, MN has swiftly moved back to Lammy bashing.

It amazes me how many Walter Mittys there are out there. They waffle on about protecting the country, doing their bit, but wouldn't recognise the oath of allegiance if it was in their faces
Pointing this out, and directing them to dictionary definitions of patriotism and nationalism also seems to cause them confusion.
Their hostile responses are usually met with a reply along the lines of "is this really your idea of protecting me as a woman? Go away, you're useless at it".

Im sad about Rayner, the witch hunt has done our country a disservice. It won't happen, but I would love it if she was nominated for the ballot and voted back in by members as deputy leader.
