A chat thread for those who don't like this Labour government. Labour isn't working.

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

Spot on. Her step siblings were sent to independent schools I believe, but she wasn't. Then she claims she was "bullied" at Oxford.
She is a bit like Atlas, but weighed down with an inferiority complex. Hence the sneers and snippy comments about children in independent schools etc.

Love how posters are reduced to making nasty, personal comments about female MPs.

Don't even go there with me!

She IS snippy. Has been pulled up for posting snippy comments about kids at independent schools. Being a female has nothing to do with it.

ThePhantomoftheEcobubbleOpera · 31/08/2025 18:19

Oh gosh, this is just a warm up, we save our most scathing insults for Starmer.

Thanks for popping by.

You know how your lot feel about Thatcher? That's how we feel about Philipson and the rest of the current administration.

EmpressoftheMundane · 31/08/2025 19:12

She is a politician who has been callous and heavy handed. I think she can handle a few members of the public in a chat room speculating on how she turned into the wicked witch.

WinifredDartie · 31/08/2025 19:21

It is rather pathetic that all you can come up with is calling someone 'snippy' or a 'wicked witch' hardly cutting edge political debate.

Ah unlike all the nasty comments about Tory and Reform politicians on other posts? No insults there obviously?

Maybe this thread isn't for you.

It can't be both pathetic and nasty though surely?

Would you like to add something constructive to the ‘cutting edge political debate’?

How do you think Labour are doing?

I don't think I am allowed to suggest you might be a bit pathetic posting night after night about how much you hate the government..maybe go out for a walk..get a bit of fresh air.

Your language sounds strangely familiar, name changed recently? 🤔

ThePhantomoftheEcobubbleOpera · 31/08/2025 20:07

'Go for a walk?'

Maybe that will be the next Labour slogan. 😁

So, it turns out, we could not smash the gangs, grow the economy, improve waiting lists, decrease borrowing costs, build 1.5 million houses, decrease fuel bills, decrease unemployment, put more money in your pocket, give you a family doctor but, but, y'know..maybe go for a walk?

18k steps and 6 hours of fresh air working on a shoot today 💪

ThePhantomoftheEcobubbleOpera · 31/08/2025 20:13

Modelling, filming or hunting?

😂 picking up on a shoot
I forgot to renew my gun licence in time 🫣
Not sure there's much of a demand for a late 40s weatherbeaten menopausal horsey girl to do modelling 😂😂😂

ThePhantomoftheEcobubbleOpera · 31/08/2025 20:18

😁 Oh no. You have done far more than I have. We went on a family trip out to a fishing village, ate a Sunday dinner and I'm blaming the sea air for my lack of productivity that followed - but it could be the wine.

Grouse. Partridge + pheasant will be October.
Grouse is hard work and fell down several holes 😂

LOL.

I’ve got my first of the season the week after next. It will probably rain horizontally….

Pathetic? 'Invoking compassion and sympathy'?

Well yes, that would be appropriate response for those children whose schools closed over the summer due to Phillipson's spite.

Might as well expect blood from a stone as any kind of human decency from the malignant, dishonest, thieving idiots currently in number 10 though.
