I can’t believe I’m not seeing more threads on this. Starmer back israel against Iran. Other Muslim countries are supporting Iran.

Why does the whole world not sympathise with Ukraine? Syria? Myanmar? Sudan? The Mexican drug war? People being trafficked and dying all over the world? Women being exploited and repressed in Afghanistan?

Why is nobody bothered any more about Russia invading and bombing Ukraine when Ukraine did nothing to provoke Russia?

Nobody wants to see kids killed. Nobody sane wants war, but for some reason Israel v Palestine seems utterly polarised.

because unless we know the full intelligence services files of who started what and why we only have the medias word as to why these conflicts start etc yes sometimes there is not always a reason but history has shown eg cuban missile etc

I doubt it's much to do with the intelligence agencies, lack of interest in many of those conflicts listed is because the media choose to give some stories much higher profiles than others.

For example the Guardian has been OK, on and off, with regard to Ukraine but interest is waning..the same outlet actually managed a decent piece just yesterday on the horrific goings on in Tigray but generally they've been fairly silent on that one.

Putting it bluntly some conflicts are more fashionable than others and the MSM follows that trend.

i was more thinking why the conflicts origially begin etc

why dont you read up on this history then........
The americans gave Palestinian land to the Jews from Europe and surrounds in l948 - since then they have stolen more land from Palestine - enough is never enough -
This is not a war - its annihilation

The UN set up this resolution with The Brits and French the main instigators.

That is the most historically ignorant take ever. No one "gave" Palestinian land to Jews from Europe.
By 1947, there were 630,000 Palestinian Jews, some who had been there forever, some for generations and some more recent arrivals from all over the world.
The British, who had ruled with a mandate since taking over from the Ottoman Empire in 1917, turned the problem over to the UN as they couldn't find a solution and they wanted to leave already as it was too much of a headache, especially post WW2. The UN proposed partition which was voted on in November 1947 and adopted in Resolution 181 (II).
The Palestinian Jews accepted this resolution and the Palestinian Arabs rejected it (stating they rejected ANY partition plan and ANY Jewish homeland in Palestine, not that they thought it was unfair) and began a civil war in 1947. When the British left in May 1948, Palestinian Jews declared the State of Israel. No one declared a State of Palestine (because that had never been the goal, it had always been intended to be absorbed into existing Arab states such as Jordan, Syria and Egypt). With the declaration of the State of Israel, five Arab armies invaded but Israel held out. Jordan kept the West Bank and Egypt the Gaza Strip. Interestingly, no State of Palestine was declared in the West Bank and Gaza (why not?)...
Absolutely nothing to do with anyone "giving" Palestinian land to "the Jews", certainly not the Americans.

I do have some hope that people are seeing what’s actually happening in the Middle East and who the consistent aggressor is:

Iran probably. Through the way they've destroyed Lebanon, Syria, Iraq and Yemen and then use their proxies there to attack Israel (well, until now at least since they've lost their proxies in Lebanon and Syria and only have Iraq and Yemen left to destroy).

There's total radio silence on the genocide against the Druze in As-Suweida

The UN set up this resolution with The Brits and French the main instigators.

Actually the United Nations Special Committee on Palestine (UNSCOP), which was established in early 1947 to propose a solution for the future governance of Palestine and proposed the partition plan which was then voted on was comprised of Australia, Canada, Czechoslovakia, Guatemala, India, Iran, Netherlands, Peru, Sweden, Uruguay and Yugoslavia.

Facts do actually matter even if they don't fit your narrative.

What do you call someone who's negatively obsessed with "the Jews"? There's a term for that, I just can't recall it.
