Bond films became dull when Daniel Craig was cast. All the knowing fun was sucked out of them and the Bourne films are better at the kind of thing that they now do.

That Thomas the Tank Engine film with Alec Baldwin in it is genius! (Magic Railroad. You can blow your whistle at me anytime fat controller!)

I can't answer this but it's the film I've watched the most times and watch again when I need comfort and familiarity. I can't explain it. Maybe it's the actors.

'Escape from Alcatraz' is legendary for me. Shawshank is very much based on this one.

Titanic, Peter's Friends and Four Weddings and a Funeral are 3 of the worst films ever made. Peter's Friends especially is an absolute abomination.

I watched ‘Past Lives’ on a flight, which got rave reviews. I felt as though I must have been unconscious for a good chunk of the film because literally nothing happens in it.

Saving Private Ryan is shit. It could perhaps have been watchable if Tom Hanks had successfully secured Omaha Beach using only his enormous, empty forehead. Alas, this didn't happen.

Airplane is not funny. Top Secret uses the same joke strategy and is way better.

I watched it for the first time recently, and I was open-mouthed at the awfulness of it 😆
