Watching it now. I'm not religious - but it is a fascinating watch and a beautiful setting.

I am watching - only just tuned in to see a little. The man in the front of the coffin bearers looked like he was having a hard time and I was getting anxious that he was going to fall over!

I thought the exact same!

I think that's why the camera panned back and looked at the crowds.

Trump’s blue suit looks very out of place.

The weather looks to have played its part today.

I've only been to one Catholic funeral - and I remember that it was long. And involved a lot of incense.

Poor man is going to be a meme for sure.

The power the Catholic church still has is clear with all the world leaders attending.

He probably always wears the same thing. Is he wearing a red tie?

Not sure if it was a choice to stand out, or a refusal to embrace societal norms through arrogance.

Haven’t seen Trump yet myself - am watching on Swedish telly but surely is same feed?

Watching it as well, funny I thought same regarding Trump’s suit and came on to see if anyone thought the same, mind you can’t remember him wearing any other colour tbh. I don’t wear black myself but if I’d been invited to the Pope’s funeral id have gone out a bought something black to wear.

I'm sure it is. The camera panned from right to left across the politicians, etc. Trump was just in from the right and Zelensky on the left.

There’s also a world leader, I presume, certainly a dignatory, holding a young baby in his arms.

Oh now we get to the mass where it becomes painfully obvious how many present never go to mass ;)

I'm watching it, I'm not Catholic I'm pagan but I very much liked Pope Francis. He was a very humble man and quite liberal.
He always refused to wear the red designer shoes he wore worn down shoes of his own.
He was I think a real holy man. I admire those in any faith.

The clergyman wearing a bucket hat to protect his head from the sun is also a bit standout!

It's not so long ago I think some of the women attending would have covered their hair with black veils. Certainly still happened in the 80s and 90s.

Yes - did you notice some of them in that section waved at the camera which I thought a bit odd.

Just spotted him, Trump has a blue tie.

Yes, and one had his iPhone out and was filming a just before Mass started, but still!
