So, based on US reportage so far - the US federal government lawyers facing this upcoming hearing have just tried to get hearing vacated (denied) and, by appeal, now to get an urgent stay and the removal of the judge.

Long thread from someone who was at the hearing about the timings of the officials ignoring Judge Boasberg's orders to stop the planes with the deportees on. Contempt of court was mentioned. This is going to be interesting. They are ordered to return to court with answers to the judge's specific questions tomorrow by noon.
