Does anyone know any mum influencers?

There are sooo many now, I follow a few, attending premieres, being gifted all sorts. I wondered if anyone knows any- school mums, friends, acquaintances and what they're like? (Dont have to specify who!). Are they always on their phones? Do they seem happy? I cant imagine documenting all my life it's exhausting enough just living it!

There's one in my village, her kids are at DD's school. The image online is nothing like reality. We find it all quite hilarious - photos of her sniffing wisteria trying to create a bucolic scene, which I know is right next to an A road with lorries thundering past etc. Her kids are v much exploited and she has complained that school complains that they miss too much school (she gets lots of 'gifted' holidays so they are away a lot).
The mum of one of the boys in DDs class also tried it - she got an ad for paint I think, and our house often featured in the background of her shots as we live across the other side of a field from her - sadly she has now made her account private as that one was hilarious too. Sadly for her her children are not at all photogenic so the exploiting them thing did not work out.

I know one who thinks she is an influencer but really she has 6k followers and follows the 6k people back. She used to document every moment of her kids lives- school plays, school pick ups. She’d make reels out of everything, the kids couldn’t eat until 100 pictures has been taken of them posing with their meal. The kids are high school age now and refuse to be in the reels so she’s taken to doing more and more videos of herself and she’s mostly raunchy dancing in fishnets which tbh is probably even worse for the poor teenage girls to deal with

I was a few years ahead of a youngish (late 20’s) mum influencer at school and there is a lot of interesting stuff about her and her family. She has two young sons and a much older husband and it’s all quite scandalous.

I know Maria Fowler who used to be on TOWIE. She's now a bit of a mum influencer I think.

Brings more drama than average to the school gates I would say but if ok.

Yes she is a horrible woman. Exploits her autistic son. Constantly on TikTok talking about how awful him being autistic is. Constantly the victim. Room her daughter to a spa and complained when
The spa refused to let her have any treatments because she was too young.

I live on the same street as one - she’s all ‘positive parenting’ on her Instagram/Tiktok and shrieking like a fishwife at her feral undisciplined children as soon as camera is off. She also posts endlessly advising lesser mortals about food while feeding the children joyless calorie free picky plates and both boys look like undernourished Victorian waifs with big dark circles under their eyes. No respect whatsoever for the children’s privacy or for safeguarding - pictures posted of them in various states of undress and it’s totally identifiable where they live, which school they attend, when the house is empty as they are off on another freebie trip. I hope she’s saving for the therapy they’ll need as soon as their peers have access to the internet.
I don’t follow her but I do have a guilty pleasure of enjoying the tattle threads slagging her off …

What is the problem with you lot? So someone gets paid to take photos and videos of their daily family life and you think they are vile and self obsessed? All of them?
Easily avoided, just don't follow them and you'd barely know they exist.

Yes I know one, she's more of an acquaintence. She seems really nice and normal to be honest, has a part time job alongside her Instagram stuff. She has 6 kids so I don't know how she fits it all in, good on her I say!

I find this interesting as knew her slightly years ago.

Saw her promoting something online, recognised her and had a look at her Instagram etc. it's absolutely hilarious, she says "award winning" every 2 minutes but most of these awards are made up or industry generated by agents/other influencers.

Her kids are lovely but looks like her older children loathe being online. Don't know what she would have done without the 3rd. Think a lot of influencers have kids for content. Free pram anyway.

The whole thing is tautological, there's no actual content or meaning. She's written a book about how to be successful but at what? Posting pictures of your kids playing an app so you get a few ££? Then saying she's an "award winning author" here's nothing behind any of it.

Whole industry a load of bollocks, 80% of women have children so why do a few set themselves up as experts? I have to admire their delusion I suppose. I contributed more to society last time I took the bins out.

It all looks cool on screen but it really is crap and fake.

I know one. She's an absolute bell end and a fraud. Plus her husband is a teacher that is no longer allowed to teach for certain reasons. I wouldn't have thought she was best placed to be commenting on parenting but hey, what do I know? She has 140K followers

Yes and she’s genuinely a lovely person. She didn’t start out as a “mum influencer” specifically, she was just an influencer who had a baby so slowly her engagement changed. She very much keeps work and home separate, so goes to the bouji events as work, but for her own social life would rather a takeaway on the sofa and a normal chat.

Forgot to add: she also never posts her children’s faces, only the backs of their heads, an arm or a leg here and there, etc.

Yes!!! 😳It gives me the creeps, and I find her whole persona very strange.

I know one, went to uni with her and enjoyed her company when we were in our 20s but she has grown to be more and more of a prick. She does YouTube and TikTok mostly. She has two places, a very grey fluffy clean flat where she films, and then a very average family home that’s never seen on camera. She makes her children rehearse lines and they always look miserable in her pictures. I think if she was up front about filming in a staged flat and not exploit her kids, I would have more respect for her, but it’s all a total farce.

I think we're all just a bunch of mums who don't believe in exploiting children, actually!
