Should we be looking again at Chris Evans since the quite right disgrace of Wllace?
Switched on virgin radio and Chris had apiece about the North East and Hadrians wall on his allegedly topical breakfast show. Someone definitely keeping his head down.

I agree with Gregg taking a step back but is fine for Chris Evans to address behaviour in the past or is he too big to fail?

I haven't heard anything about Evans for donkey's years. Assumed he had quietly fucked off somewhere.

Evans did get fired from a couple of things and lost the odd court case/vast sum of money along the way.

Has there been further issues since he started at Virgin Radio in 2019?

Never liked him in TV he gives me the creeps. Billy Piper was 18 when they got married he was 35.

Not sure when he first met her but she had her hit single at 15. Never seen any rumours about him online though.

It was pretty icky from an age perspective with Billie Piper but I've not heard any rumours since and I used to work in an allied industry (still have friends in it) and do hear rumours about some celebrities.

What about turning up to meetings naked?

I occasionally listen to some Virgin station (Anthems?) and each presenter must be contractually obliged to mention Evans's name every 10 minutes.

Evans is a sleaze bag, no doubt. Years ago, when he hosted the TFI Friday show on TV, he would play ‘pranks’ on members of his production crew then play them back on air. One week, the ‘prank’ was to secretly record (audio only) a female crew member going to the toilet. He then played the clip back live on air much to everyone’s delight. They all thought it was hilarious! Imagine doing that now - it’d be a scandal.

he's been with his current wife for 20 years and he seems to have grown up a hell of a lot and spoken about what an idiot he was when younger, so maybe that's the difference. Wallace is the same age as Evans but by all accounts he's still an idiot and hasn't grown up at all.

Piper was 17 when they met:

Chris Evan's has always given me the ick. He's very happy to embarrass anyone. His behaviour reminds me of John Barrowman, in fact when the JB stuff came out all those years ago I thought it's the sort of thing I'd expect to hear about CE- it's pretty appalling that companies they work for don't call them out at the time - surely it was known about that he got his penis out every day - fucking weirdo

I went to the recording of one of Chris Evans radio shows around 30 plus years ago. There was an older guy, obviously known to Evans and the crew and, though not sure if an audience member or one of the crew, consistently made sexual remarks and inneundos to my friend and I. Everyone in the crew and Evans himself could hear. No one said anything.

We were young and overawed and apart from making it clear that we weren't interested did nothing else.

Haven’t gone back to match up timelines - but Evans founded Ginger Productions which made TFI Friday and Don’t Forget Your Toothbrush, so for a lot of his career, he was boss and owner and talent.

Billie credits him with saving her. They're very close to this day.

I think people should not be vile about things they know nothing about.

I have never forgotten how he REALLY embarrassed one of his female co-presenters on Radio 1(?) many years ago. Even then I died for her. Massive bully. I hope he really has grown up 😔.
