A Petition to call a General Election is currently running, and I've never seen one signed by so many in such a short space of time. Clearly there are a lot of unhappy people in the UK - to put it mildly.

Hmm, interesting, how long have Labour been in office, 4 months is it? As soon as they got in there was utter contempt for Labour, people or rather Tories voters willing them to fail and worse
As far as the petition goes, Starmer has said there will not be another general election, that was on Sky news today. The people (Conservatives voters) signing the petition are forgetting, or just ignoring that Labour have a lot of power, it was a landslide victory they have 411 seats out of 650, so how was a Mickey Mouse petition going to overturn their power and yes l think l did actually see Micky Mouse’s signature on there.
The people who are ‘appalled’ by Labour, are all the anger people who voted for the Conservatives, it’s so blatantly obvious.

I actually think a lot of people who signed this voted Labour in and now bitterly regret it.

What kind of fuckery is this? Since when could the utter shitshow of the last 15 years be sorted in four months? It’s fucking politics not I’m a Celeb or Strictly. People need to get real. It’s a pathetic stunt.

Why would people bitterly regret it? Especially after 4 months? What were they hoping for??

@ItsAllAboutTheBass7 Think more than anything l’m just against the petition, l think whoever gets voted in, it stands, that’s what l understand about our voting system, for there to be another general election, would make it farcical, why would people bother voting again
I voted for a different party, but when Labour got in l just accepted it.I do think some of the people regretting voting for Labour are pensioners, due the winter fuel allowance being means tested and farmers, employers.
I don’t believe the Conservatives would have been any better, l was relieved when they didn’t get in, going by their previous history.

Farmers voting Labour? You’re having a laugh. They did vote overwhelmingly for Brexit though, thus getting rid of all those terrible EU subsidies that actually made farming profitable. Listen to these people or take them seriously? No ta.
