What would you score out of 11?

  • good health
  • big (enough for your needs) house
  • job you enjoy
  • family and friends that care about you
  • kids (if you wanted them)
  • hobbies that you have time to enjoy
  • enough money to be comfortable
  • a loving marriage/partnership
  • good self esteem
  • mostly happy/content
  • enough holidays to satisfy

11....... I appreciate I'm fortunate!

HeadNorth · 24/10/2024 18:41

I am lucky enough to have all of them - although I’d always like more holidays. Don’t be fooled though - I have survived a horrible tragedy and crawled from the wreckage to build a meaningful and eventually largely happy life.

I'm at at least 10, 11 on a good day
I recognize how lucky I am. Like pp said, I've been through it, so it makes it all the sweeter

I've just had a horrible 48 hours though so really enjoyed reading your post. I have a lot to be grateful for and had been having a pity party getting stressed over something that hasn’t even happened!!

9, failed ivf and miscarriage means I’ll never now have my own kids.

TheSongOfNorway · 24/10/2024 18:50

10, but when I go my loved ones will be very well looked after financially. They have no idea really, but a very solid plan is in place.

I'm overweight and worried about future health concerns if I don't lose some. -1 point
Before putting on the weight, we TTC 12yrs and have no living children, so I lost 1 point for that one too.

Crunched · 24/10/2024 18:51

10 - the exception being a hobby, but that isn't something I miss/need.

leia24 · 24/10/2024 18:52

blackrabbitwhiterabbit · 24/10/2024 18:53
