Maybe a character you liked originally or were indifferent to? I'm rewatching Dexter and, omfg, Debra is so damn annoying and pathetic, not to mention bad at her job!

Tom from Desperate Housewives, loved him when I watched it initially as a teen but now as an adult he is infuriating.

I quite like rewatching shows I watched when I was much younger, time and life experience gives you such a different perspective.

Although I had no issue with the Doctor in Call the Midwife or Shelagh until I stated reading the CTM threads on here and suddenly seeing all these minor annoyances that had washed over me previously.

Ross from Friends. He is a walking red flag of a man. I’ve told the kids he is practically a what not to do manual for dating so pay attention and don’t do anything he does.

Greys. Started it again last year and they’re nearly all fucking awful. I always thought Meredith and Derek were a gorgeous lovely couple in a beautiful romantic relationship but they’re monstrous. He’s a shit.

Yes! Grange Hill. The original ones with Trisha Yates and Tucker Jenkins. Before DH and I rewatched it we remembered Tucker as a “cheeky chappy”. Turns out he was more of a racist bullying little shit.

Xander from Buffy, especially seasons 1-3 - he is so awful! I used to think he was funny as a teen but on a rewatch he is so bitter that Buffy didn’t feel the same way! Special mention also to Angel (why would he find a 16 year old attractive) and Riley (a walking red flag!)

Walter White in Breaking Bad. Empathised with him the first time i watched it. Watched it again for the 3rd time recently and he is abhorrent, an absolute psychopath. Reminds me of my ex! Still a masterpiece of a show though 👌
