Maybe a character you liked originally or were indifferent to? I'm rewatching Dexter and, omfg, Debra is so damn annoying and pathetic, not to mention bad at her job!

I used to fancy the arse off Sawyer in Lost the first time around. Rewatching it now almost 20 years later, and he's a racist, misogynistic sex pest 🤮

Angel in Buffy, he's either straight up evil or a needy, clingy, misery who's old enough to know better. Not a fan of Xander or Riley either tbh.
Weird that such a horrid little scroat like Joss Whedon has such a fabulous array of multi faceted, strong female characters and yet manages to miss with almost all the male characters in that show. Whispers: Even Spike (who I actually love) is toxic as fuck, but at least he realises it, and manages to be bitchy and funny as a bonus 🧛‍♂️❤️

Omg I saw the title and immediately thought of Debs from Dexter! I'm rewatching for probably the fifth time and haven't quite appreciated how annoying she is up until now!

I first watched it as a teenager, thought he was a worried, put-upon, hardworking, reluctant hero. Watched the series again years later and realised what a sleazy, self-centred, lazy coward he is!

agreeing with Gilmore girls. Not sure I count though as it’s not a rewatch. I’ve got through s1 and Lorelai is so childish and annoying, Rory is the worst. Some of it is quite dated now but there was a bit where she’s going on about Dean moving on with ‘slutty’ girls. They are both the epitome of ‘pick me’ girls. I have given up.

@WatchOutMissMarpleIsAbout she didn’t do anything. That’s the point. If she wasn’t in the final season, I’m not sure anyone would notice. So dull and moany about that ex of hers. No one cares!

When I first watched it, I thought one of the refreshing things about it was that Gavin and Stacey are genuinely nice characters. But years later when I watched repeats, I came to the conclusion that Stacey is a bit spoiled and quite manipulative in the way she gets Gavin to move back to Barry (AND coming off the pill without telling him).

I’m now watching it again because they’ve put it on iPlayer ahead of the new episode… I’ve now decided Stacey is still manipulative, but Gavin is also a bit shit and immature for dismissing her homesickness. Neither of them are as nice as they seem and both are too immature to be married.

Not a specific character, but I recently rewatched Cutting It on iplayer and....good grief!

It's ridiculously messed up, a huge amount of unhealthy relationships/just plain old shagging - I was shocked!

Watched it when I was much younger so think a lot of it went over my head the first time.

Oh and Piper (OITNB)

Definitely Derek Shepherd.

The line from Christina 'HE IS NOT THE SUN, YOU ARE' resonated after I grew up a bit and had experienced my fair share of arrogant self serving men.
