Yes Brexit caused kids at my ds school to tell him to go back to where he came from.

He's white British but born in another European country.

They were called out on there racism.

So they started the disablist crap on him instead. That seemed to be allowed to stand (until I spoke to school quite firmly).

Both the reasons teens were banding about such utter vile hateful crap was because they heard the leaders of our country doing so.

They were totally wrong - end of.

But so were the people stoking the fires these children flamed.

Sorry typed racism in a hurry and meant they were called out but it wasn't racism (it's not) nor xenophobia (because he's British) but were told to stop.

Where has anyone on this thread said that racism and racist speech is acceptable? We have all condemned it

What we have also pointed out, though, is that the Conservatives (and Reform - but they've not been in power) have created the environment that such speech and attitudes have become acceptable to a certain sector of the population.

For the avoidance of doubt: none of us on here think such language is acceptable

PS: it's ridiculous I even have to say something so obvious but it would seem that it's not obvious to one poster everyone
